In case it wasn't obvious, I'm referring to the topic of the thread. I understand why it was created in the first place. Hazard was having a piss poor season for reasons unknown and we would have probably been okay with offloading him to Madrid, despite how stupid it would have been (as proven by his resurgence this season) for a frequently injured Bale.

But to bump up the thread again because he's had one poor game in a final after an overall stellar season is just extra stupid.

I'll keep using the word stupid, because at this point, that's what the thread is. Stupid.

This thread, the alaba thread, the random rumours thread. Others do it too, I don't understand why anyone goes into a rumour thread to categorically claim it won't happen, move on/close the thread etc. You don't know, you may have an opinion but you can't state it as fact.

And what makes it stupid exactly, because it differs to your opinion? If anything that makes your claim stupid.

Sat here and went through the very few posts on the Random Rumours thread and couldn't find anything even remotely related to what you're talking about that I posted. Are you mistaken me for someone else? 

And since when is calling an Alaba dream a pipe dream somehow out of line? If someone started a Messi to Chelsea rumour thread and I post a "Why bother with this?" in there, how on earth is that somehow wrong? Some things are brazenly obvious. If I started a "Wenger to Chelsea" thread right now and say "there's a chance he manages us next year" what will your reaction be? Exactly. This is football. Crazy things happen but some things are common knowledge to the point where you can almost guarantee with 100% certainty how they play out.

If fit he would.

Problem is he's becoming more and more injury prone and with each injury the risk increases that he loses his biggest weapon....his speed. We seen it with Torres, Owen and countless others who never reached the levels they were previously at when it caught up with them.

He's admitted he came back too early from his last injury. He's had a hectic couple of years with a bigger physical and emotional demand on his with Wales, every game meaning something and a first summer tournament in his career. But he's now had a clear summer and Wales look like winding down a little.

I think the likes of Torres and owen suffered partly due to being over played as teenagers, similar to Rooney. Their footballing age was as a result always 2-3 years ahead of their actual age. 

Couple of reports out there this morning that we are set to bid for bale.  If he can stay healthy he'd be a fantastic addition.  Gotta be honest though, don't think this one happens

If we are refusing to bid above 54m or whatever it was for Sandro, we are hardly going to match whatever crazy price RM want for Bale.

Take on board we've rarely gone above £50m for a player this season except Morata and the bids for Sandro yet expect we would pay more for Bale should he become available.

Expect we will keep Hazard this season even if we were to get Bale.

Well if the ear-marked money does not go to Sandro for half as much again we might get Bale who with a short trip down the M4 can join up with the Choir boys at Cardiff fairly quickly.

This isn't unrealistic if we pay 75 get him bed in for a season then they will wantbhazard next season and we will take 120 at least off them, if that's the plan and the agreement it's not unrealistic at all

really? it was more isco giving them kittens. bale was pretty average. granted he gave the assist to isco who then still had to score the goal, and he could have scored a goal himself. tearing them to shreds is a bit much of a description though

I remember him doing what I wrote the first 20 mins or so. However, I was on and off watching that game... Redcafe was better
