January 16, 201610 yr Just seen the Martinez post game interview. Looking forward to seeing a fine go his way. He said nothing different to what Jose used to say and he got hammered for it.
January 16, 201610 yr The referee added on 7 minutes to make up for the Costa injury and our celebration. The goal came in the 99th minute. I do not care about your history against West Brom. This is Everton. I also do not care about our history with City, although seeing as you've brought it up, in the previous game James Milner was awarded a penalty against us which was incorrectly given. So in that instance, what goes around comes around. It's a Chelsea forum. If you want to moan about the referee and talk about Everton then go and find an Evertone forum. I'm not sure what you expected to be honest.
January 16, 201610 yr Didn't see the match today but it seems like we got away with one. Swings and roundabouts.
January 16, 201610 yr if you accept how crap we have been you surely have to see this as a result !! im well chuffed, great come back, has to be a positive
January 16, 201610 yr Very disappointed that we didn't get an extra seven minutes for John Terry's celebration to make it 4-3. That doesn't make sense, the seven minutes were added on prior to your team scoring, it became eight minutes due to the celebrations, at the most the Terry celebration could have added a minute, but what do you expect, for the game to go on all night? Let it drop mate, I'm sorry that it was offside and I'm sorry that it came in the 98th minute, if it happened against my team, I'd be angry, so I can appreciate that your angered by what happened, just let it drop now, what do you hope to achieve by moaning to Chelsea fans whose only involvement in the situation was viewing the action, what do you want from us? Our season has been awful and we've finally had a slice of luck, move on.
January 16, 201610 yr Whats the big deal with all the bitching, what goes around comes round, those minutes on that board are just a guideline, the ref doesn't have to justify when he blows his whistle.....
January 16, 201610 yr And can someone clarify when the seven minutes of stoppage time were added in relation to their third goal? I couldn't say at the moment.I'm fairly certain that the 7 minutes went up as they scored so definitely didn't take into account the celebrations for their goal. Look at the time on this http://i.imgur.com/5oZHdwN.gif The goal was scored before 98 minutes was even played. Also, the decision to add 7 minutes on was decided BEFORE you scored your goal. Your lot celebrated for over a minute of that added on time, so the ref added on the time for your lot celebrating. If you are going to complain then at least make sure you get your facts right first or you're just going to look bitter.
January 16, 201610 yr Everton can't moan about the offside for JT, if you watch it again, Jagielka has hold of Oscar in the penalty area and pulls him down as Oscar heads the ball into JT's path.
January 16, 201610 yr Roberto Martinez criticizing the officials over Terry's goal. Wonder if he'll get fined.
January 16, 201610 yr Watching MoTD, offside boo ruddy hoo. Everton players having to be put back on the pitch by stewards and they then moan about extra time in which a goal, off side or not, is scored. Ho hum.
January 16, 201610 yr This was against West Ham on Boxing Day 2014. You can see the guy on the very right in the middle has a WH hat on. Also Terry scored at the Matt Harding stand, whereas the oppo fans were at the other end. Edited January 16, 201610 yr by AlexTommo
January 16, 201610 yr Having just seen MotD I'm a bit pissed that Costa gets no credit for not getting Howard sent off when scored his first goal. Any contact there and Howard is f**ked. Instead he rides through it and goes for goal. Top class and I was so happy to see how much it meant to him. It seems like he's feeling part of the team again. If Hiddink has done nothing else that's a huge plus.

January 16, 201610 yr Funny game football, we've been garbage this year,Everton play some lovely football yet there is only 4 pts difference. Therefore garbage + 4pts = lovely

Hope he isn't out long, when in beast mode he is very hard to stop.
January 16, 201610 yr Motd giving us their standard unbiased review of a Chelsea match. The bunch of twats. Also I can't believe how little has been said about the skill involved in JTS goal, it was an unbelievable finish for any player let alone a centre back. Edited January 16, 201610 yr by dkw
January 16, 201610 yr £50k and a stadium ban isn't it? Hes Roberto Martinez, course not. I was just reading his comments and they are more damming than anything Jose has said. I'll be watching to see if he's penalized.
January 17, 201610 yr Absolutely delighted that martinez and everton are fuming, they moan about us every time we play them. Like they usually do against us they once again spent the game rolling around and moaning to the ref every time we went in for a tackle barkely being the worst this time around. Genuinely don't give a f**k about the offside, we've had absolutely f**k all go our way this season. They can have no complaints about time added on as I've already said they spent the entire game hitting the ground and crying for the ref, oviedo alone took at least five minutes to get off the pitch. Got to say as well that I thought everton's support was awful, no noise till they went one up and only heard them again for their other goals obviously overrating yourselves as fans must be a scouse thing. Aside from everton and their standard moaning and crying we were utter sh*t for 60/70 minutes. Why do we keep waiting to go down a couple of goals before we start playing? It's infuriating! Even when we got back to two all we stopped attacking (oviedo's injury probably played a part). We need to attack teams from the start not just wait for them to score. I wouldn't start Matic again for along time, it's beyond a joke how bad he's been. Mikel and RLC, Ramires or Fabregas from now on. Desperately need to keep Costa fit and sort the defence out, dropping Ivan just has to happen (we've been saying that all year) Zouma can't be expected to keep covering for him. January 17, 201610 yr What a second half! JT saved the day! I thought, if we really wanted to push and show the quality that exists in our attack, we can. Our defence unfortunately is woeful. Now how to inspire to team to attack like this in each game?

Also I can't believe how little has been said about the skill involved in JTS goal, it was an unbelievable finish for any player let alone a centre back. With Moyes in the studio felt more like Everton TV...if it's not Costa's bad behaviour they focus on, it's how sh*t we are or how lucky we are..also whoever was commentating needs to liven up a bit...managed to make a 3-3 draw sound boring, which is some feat
