I like what Koeman has done there so far - he's made two excellent signings in Ashley Williams and Idrissa Gueye, and he's hoofed Aidan McGeady out of the first-team squad.

I'll be honest, I'm not Lukaku's biggest fan nor do I think he should be a priority buy for the club especially when we have clear problems in defence but if we are to get him and Remy goes then so I don't think I'd complain.

If we buy Lukaku then we play 1 striker and would have spent a total of 120+mil pounds for 1 position.

Meanwhile we have a backline of Iva-GC-JT-AZPI with backups of Zouma, Aina, Hector and Da silva (probably) for total investment of about 40mil pounds. Its really not hard to see why we are suffering the way we are. The current board has been Atrocious in its decision making. As well as the scouts in getting players like Papy and Hector.

I think it's obvious IF we want and get Lukaku that Conte will be playing a two-striker system.

Makes no sense to loan out Traore then (we are also rumored to be including remy in the deal). In a 2 striker system, he would have get some very vital oppurtunity here.

Also, to play 2 strikers, one hazard and a cesc, well, its suicidal to say the least.

Looks like he's coming.. With lukaku pursuit, matic favoritism and lack of defender signing,, would that be the hint that conte is planning for 3-5-2 ?
