January 23, 201610 yr No he isn't. It's all about opinions. I think he is. Defend for your life, talented creative players, run yourselves into the ground tracking back. 1-0 will do, defend defend defend. Just the way I see it. Sorry.

Just the way I see it. Sorry. 1-0 and defend defend defend? I think you forgot last season, especially 1st half of the last season and his 1st spell at Chelsea. Something terribly wrong went over last summer and I believe in a way Jose wanted to be out. He had no support from the board when it comes to the transfer market. He was warning about that but board was completely ignoring it. I think we needed 3 solid signing and things would be totally different. So I guess my point is don't blame completely Jose for this season disaster.
January 23, 201610 yr Would love to see Jose as England coach in place of Hodgson - think he could end that barren spell. That said, could the FA cope with the "circus"? You imagine if Jose had been Coach when Lampards "goal" that never was against Germany happened!! apparently he almost was England manager. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2014/article-2653304/Jose-Mourinho-England-manager-2007-wife-told-turn-hed-bored.html

January 24, 201610 yr Hmm, this ties in with a whisper not so long ago. Whether he did, or didn't sadly I think it may well be on the cards; what better way to pay back those responsible, whoever that may be, for his departure.
January 24, 201610 yr 1-0 and defend defend defend? I think you forgot last season. Nope I haven't forgot last season.
January 26, 201610 yr As I said before, time will tell if Roman was justified in sacking Jose. Right now, it looks good. Even if we have no CL football next year, we can use that to make our comeback. As for Jose coming back, not happening. It doesn't make sense. He's good for a while, and then it all goes downhill, and the slide was the worst this year than ever. As much as I hate to say this, and as much as I looked forward to his return when it happened, I'm glad he's gone. The drama week in and week out got to be too much. It was like a never ending soap opera. But if he does, I'll eat my Lampard T-shirt.
February 5, 201610 yr Jose Mourinho appears to be closing in on a move to Manchester United. Mourinho will take over Manchester United on the 1st of July. [Marca] More and more rumours about this. Looks like it's happening - I would say Pep going to City probbarly forced their hand. Certainly be interesting to see how he does. Gutting though, he shouldn't be managing another English team.

No, he should be here but who can blame him for strongly considering the Manchester United job considering we brutally sacked him NOT once, but twice. I wouldn't begrudge him if he ended up at Manchester United in the foreseeable future. Edited February 5, 201610 yr by Jezz
February 5, 201610 yr Would be great for the league. Bad news for us though, short term at the very least. But one part of me would still look forward to see how the rivalry between him and Guardiola plays out this time.
February 5, 201610 yr @GuillemBalague On Mou. Nothing agreed with MUFC as yet (and things don't happen till they happen ). Does he want the job? You bet! Are they chatting? Yeap
February 5, 201610 yr United would be stupid not to appoint Mourinho even if it meant for a short term until Giggs is ready to take the Mantel Giggs would have learnt from the best-Fergie, LVG & Mourinho (Not to forget the greatest of them all Moyes)
February 5, 201610 yr Let it happen. The Utd fans can enjoy the roller-coaster ride but ultimately it will all end in tears.
February 5, 201610 yr Let it happen. The Utd fans can enjoy the roller-coaster ride but ultimately it will all end in tears. And trophies.
February 5, 201610 yr To be honest there is just one other manager i would have faith could get involved with Pep/Mourinho and probably come out with some trophies on the other side and thats Diego Simeone. He is cynical enough and also a crazy bar steward that wouldn't fear anyone. But i don't think he is coming here. But that would be a few crazy, crazy years here if those three all clashed at the same time. Poor Wenger
February 5, 201610 yr he's the next best manager out there on par with pep, so only natural for utd to go in for him. it would be a good move and utd will give him a big budget to spend on players he wants. however, the cons he brings to the club outweigh the positives a lot of the time. jose comes with a lot of unnecessary baggage and the spotlight shines brightly on the club he is at when things go wrong. i think he'll do well with utd in the first season, but utd need to keep hold of their best players otherwise it makes his work twice as hard. i think keeping de gea would be crucial for them, but be interesting to see how mata fits in considering jose let him go. i would be a little annoyed with jose if he keeps mata at utd, yet let him leave us.
February 5, 201610 yr If Mourinho goes to Utd he will bring them trophies and be the biggest threat to City next year.

February 5, 201610 yr The thing with Jose is that he likes to work in conflict and thrives from it. It's his biggest downfall that he can't work without conflict. Eventually the club and players tire from it. Not sure how the United board will feel about it - unless Jose has changed his approach. I thought he had when he came back a second time but he hasn't. I don't think he would be able to do that in 6 months.
