Di Matteo can't seem to catch a break at the moment.  He really need's to find a job that last's more than a few months or he is going to find it hard to get many more jobs.

Oh well, if it doesn't work out, at least he will always be a Champions League winner.

I haven't seen any of their matches but looking back at match reports it looks like individual errors late in games has cost them wins (they've drawn 7 of their 10 matches), but Villa fans seem to pin the blame on his formations, team selections and substitutions. Goals conceded in the last 5 minutes has seen them drop 9 points. They could be 3rd instead of 17th.

On a more positive note for ex-Chelsea managers, Ranieri's Leicester continue to impress in Europe. Their league form is poor but they're making the most of their Champions League run.

His red card was rescinded, apparently it was a case of mistaken identity...

"Both Le Parisien and RMC report that referee Viktor Kassai has amended his report with a yellow card for Brazilian defender Marquinhos."

Sold players who could score goals, bet on the fortune of the team on the likes of Oscar/Willian to deliver, brilliant plan.

Schurlle was as inconsistent as the rest of them.

You just have to go look through the schurle thread to see the abuse he used to get, now he's being used as an example of a terrible move by selling him. Some of our fans just love slagging the club of for any reason it seems.

We have a buyback clause on Thorgan Hazard which expires end of Jan I think, we better be activating it and loaning him back to them till the end of the season. Will be shocked if he is still at Borussia Monch next season with the form he is in.

Very good football of CL tonight, every game shows great atmosphere, underdog teams showing no fear.

What? Mönchengladbach 1-0 Barcelona and City vs Celtic 2-2. ::clap2::

I think it's great, I just hope Borussia will beat Barcelona with more goals, Celtic are doing a great job in this battle, it's not easy to destroy Pep's plans.

Rostov are having a good fight against PSV, a good game there. Also watching Bayern Munich can't find the target against Atletico Madrid, Carrasco's goal was brilliant.

First or second season schurlle ? Fulham first half Schurlle or Fulham second half Schurlle

True that, but at least he scored a few when given a run of games. I wish I could say the same about Oscar/Willian/Matic etc.

Would be really disappointing to see one of the few black managers with a chance of making it at the top level brought down by this.

Also, well done Celtic for bursting City's bubble of invincibility. More of that please.

Ask Lukaku, KDB, Mata and Lukaku what they like to do most; they will all say that they like to score goals. Oscar and Willian wont say that.

I see the Special C@nt is sayng that Mata is perfect for Utd but not for Chelsea.

And?? Can I make up an answer for them to make the first 3 look worse?

Schurlle, no question.

Sure you had the highs and lows but with Pedro you just get a constant average. In fact so average that Moses now looks a better option.

I liked Schurlle too. Just find it funny that once again an ex player is hyped up beyond what we actually saw. The goal scorer we sold and kept Oscar. Schurlle, with the 1 goal in 4.6 games vs oscar with 1 goal in 5.

Would pick Schurlle over Pedro though. First season fulham second half version

Don't think he was that good a manager to be honest but it's disappointing nonetheless.
