I feel like the FA Cup hasn't been the same since Man U refused to play in it that year. I think they disgraced the competition in all honesty.

They should have been stripped of all previous FA cup final wins, f**k em !

I just don't get why it was allowed to happen. Honestly I love the FA Cup but I really do think a lot of people looked at it differently after that.

Haha found a fellow cafe-member writing about how it works over there at RAWK... think he's kind of spot on :laugh2:

This after their whining about the forum being a free place and talks about killing it

They won't close down. It's just bluster.

Basically, the regulars on there have had enough of good posters being banned for having a negative opinion of a certain player or the manager.

On RAWK you only ever get away with criticism of the owners and even then, you have to be careful.

The forum is batsh*t mental. There are never any new threads in the Liverpool section because mods don't allow it half the time.

Whilst it's important to have rules and a certain degree of control at an internet discussion forum, the RAWK mods take it all way too seriously and seem to get off on the 'power' they have.

Basically, to survive at RAWK:

1. Talk about Instanbul a lot. They never tire of it.

2. Roy Hodgson is a fecking owl.

3. Rafa Benitez is one of the best managers to grace the Premier League. He never won it because of the owners at the time.

4. Man Utd always have a lucky manager and awful players. When Man Utd are winning, its luck OR that the refs favour United.

5. Have an imaginary friend who is a Man Utd or Everton supporter. This imaginary person always talks about how they support the best team around and that they have the best players, and has meltdowns and is actually jealous of Liverpool fans.

6. Find a player who had one very good match once and then completely overrate him whenever he doesn't play and act as if he is going to save Liverpool's season (Sakho etc).

7. Use the words Boss and La. "Lucas is boss, la." Even the RAWKites from Norway (and there are fecking loads of them) use top Scouse banter.

8. Finish every post in the fulll time match threads with "Onwards and upwards." Even if you've just been knocked out of the cup by Wolves and look awful. They've been saying it for many years now.

9. Address Klu Klux Kenneth as 'the King."

10. Address that odious cretin Robbie Folwer who looks like a monster from Dark Souls as 'God'.

Adhere to the above and you will last many years on RAWK.

Nicely balanced BT Scouse TV pundits. McManamamanam the co-commentator, and Slippy G and Paul Ince at half-time, both blaming the ref for letting the lads down.

Got to love payet...he's shown West Ham to be the Micky Mouse club they are and it's  hilarious how their fans have gone from talking him up to be this uber player taking them to next level to now being a snake etc...and they're back to signing players of their standing now like Snodgrass from a team battling relegation and scott hogan from a championship club..,ha ha

then you will enjoy this song I found on twitter

(sing along w/ the tune if 3 blind mice)

Dmitri Payet

I just don't think you understand

You cannot blame the bloke

Your club's a f**king joke

You had Dmitri Payet

Very badly handled by West Ham, and the statement they put out on their website is similarly misguided and nothing but sour grapes.

No player playing today would put his club before his family.

Instead of handling it is a classy fashion, "disappointed but understand the personal nature behind the reason to leave, thanks for your service" etc etc, they've now basically demonstrated to any prospective new signing that they are completely unreasonable in dealing with personal problems.

Not only did they make a handsome profit on having Payet play for them for 18 months or so, but they also had a big upturn on the pitch through his influence.

Can't expect a Porn baron owner ever to show any class I suppose ... thank God we have Roman ...

It's the norm.. a breaking up is always sour when the other 1 party is unwilling to let go..

Crystal Palace have signed Sunderland defender Patrick van Aanholt for a transfer fee that could rise to £14m.

Netherlands international Van Aanholt, 26, made 95 appearances for Sunderland after joining them in a £1.5m move from Chelsea in the summer of 2014.

He has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal and Eagles boss Sam Allardyce said: "He'll help at both ends.

"He was instrumental in Sunderland's fight for survival last year, not just as a full-back but for goals."

Sunderland bringing in Gibson and Oviedo with the funds.

A few months back i said Sunderland really should stop signing Man United's rejects / left overs........and now they have done it again with Gibson. It's like they think that just because they played for United, it means that player must be good.  :laugh2:

Gibson has played 28 times in 4 seasons, why would any Premier League club sign him when he has a terrible injury record and isn't even good ?

Oviedo is another poor player. 61 games for Everton as a squad player and rarely had a good game.

Sunderland's first team has some seriously shocking footballers.

Vito Mannone, Bryan Oviedo, Joleon Lescott, Papy Djilobodji, John O'Shea, Darron Gibson, Lee Cattermole, Jack Rodwell, Steven Pienaar, Victor Anichebe, Fabio Borini........these players are terrible. They are either finished, inured all of the time or they were never good enough in the first place.

Players who came through at Man utd get a lot of chances in the PL. Look how long Cleverley was a PL footballer before every manager realised he was utter sh*t.
