Maybe if Wenger treated football more as a sport and less as a theatre, they'd be more successful, he's stuck in his ways and the time to adapt and change was over 5 years ago. When they lost physical leaders like Viera and he didn't replace them, that was the beginning of the end for their dominance.

He never dominated. Never retained the title and even with Henry, Vieira etc in their primes he was abysmal in Europe. You could argue even in his trophy winning first 9 years he underachieved, that team should have dominated England and (along with Madrid and Milan) Europe.

Brilliant, exceptional, terrific, incredible. 4 words Hargreaves has said about 50 times each tonight.

I have heard some sh*t commentators over the years but he is the worst of the lot. He's worse than Michael Owen.

hargreaves is a real bore and still remembers and harps on about when  man utd were a decent team:rolleyes:

theres a thought owen and hargreaves working together presenting games

If Arsenal get 4th, it'll be terrible. Typical of them to suddenly turn up in May.

It's great though. Makes Wenger more likely to stay and that will be hilarious...also means they have to keep playing strongest side for rest of the season and be more tired for Cup final...if we can wrap up title on Friday, some of our players can be rested

Good point. I'm 99% sure Wenger will stay on the back of a May return to form (hopefully not a Cup win) and because the owners seem happy with the club's financial position.

Wenger will talk soon about being able to buy in the Summer. He'll dawdle until a week or two before the new season and will then buy one or two artistic players, and then repeat this season. :-)

Really hope Juventus beat Real Madrid. I can't stand those smug pricks.

A club with great history, but I can't think of a more arrogant club, with more plastic fans than Real Madrid, so many fans that only follow them because of Ronaldo.

nah i want conte to lift the champions league trophy before juve, woud love to see the reaction of some of them ungrateful juve fans who yaps about conte got nothing to do with their current success and that he's a failure in europe

so i hope real smash them

It's funny cause they always lumber themselves in with Man U saying they dominated with them. But they didn't at all. They were the second most successful team in the PL era but United were still miles ahead. I know back to back titles are hard but to have never done it with the teams they had in the late 90s/early 00s with a consistent manager is a bit of a failure.

Real Madrid signing some 16 year old lad from Brzail for 45m. Fair enough that they've learned their mistakes from the Neymar transfer but that much money on a 16 year old is ludicrous. They chucked all that money at Odegaard and he hasn't exactly progressed at Madrid.

I actually want Real to win it.

Can't stand corrupt Juve.

I am with you ..... I am an Inter fan so don't want Juve to win, "Conigli" is what we used to call them, which means rabbits. I am not sure why to be honest :-)

It's true the corruption thing is quite an obstacle, but I hold no illusions that other Italian clubs have behaved any better. So no particular love for Juventus, just an immense dislike of Real Madrid, and sick to death of them. Forza Juve [whispering].

I'll be cheering on Juve.

Would love to see Buffon win the European Cup.

That my sole reason for wanting Juve to win. Buffon is a class act and it's a damn shame he's never won a CL winners medal. It's about time he did.

As far as foreign clubs go I've always had a soft spot for Real and would normally want them to win the CL. But they have won enough European Cups now.

No team has ever retained the European cup since the CL format started.

Let's hope the record continues.

AC Milan did it no ?

nvm just checked , you are right

Come on Celta Vigo..

If United were to get knocked out tonight, The post match rants will make AFTV look like Sunday league, Mourinho alone will show Claude and Troopz how to rant, It will be stuff of epic proportion.
