I like Mahrez as a player, good to watch last season, but we have several players for that position and no new defenders.

As things stand we are starting the same team against west ham as last season save for the manager and Kante.

That would just be dumb and I don't think management are dumb, so I wait for the dance of the seven veils to go its course.

We can ditch the majority of people in that position though. Would happily sell on Cuadrado, Pedro and possibly Willian for the right price.

I doubt it, i'm sure a university student would know the implications and damaging reputation starting a false rumour on social media could have on any reputable career he wishes to have in the future. 

Journalism is now far more about clicks than it is quality. Sadly there are many people out there who would say "how many retweets, how many likes" and be impressed with the "buzz" created, than questioning the validity of the story.

For what it's worth I think he's a 'marked man' now and opponents will be wise to him (sit deep and crowd him out etc)... aside from his tekkers he offers nothing else and I think he'll get found out this year. He's no Robben but i'd take him over Pedro.

The thing is, teams couldn't double mark both him and Hazard without leaving vast space in the middle of the park, it'd be nice to have two  1v1 threats on the wing instead of relying on Eden to dribble past entire defences game after game. I'd love to have Mahrez here and offload Moses and Oscar.

I'd say he's just as good as Robben was in his early days with us, he scores goals as well which also helps. If we ever did go for him I can't see teams doubling up when we have the likes of Hazard and Willian to get at them as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's all a coincidence, i was more surprised to see how skinny his legs are, they are like chicken legs

Only sign Mahrez if we are planning on offloading some of the current crop of AM's we have in Oscar and Pedro etc..
