At the moment, i would rather go with Chalobah in midfield than Matic AND Oscar. Matic and Oscar haven't performed well for such a long time for us now, i don't see a way back for them.

Better performance second half, probably should have been 3-3, some positive performances from certain players, hope I'm right on Cuadrado.

In fairness it was madrids bloody D team this half but seeing some players like michy, hazard, cuadrado and chalobah performing well is good. All deserve to start against milan. I'd like to see chalobah + kante in midfield against milan

Disappointing result, but the second half performance has made me feel much better now. Chalobah, Hazard, Michy and Cuadrado all did very well. I worry about Pedro and Matic however. It isn't nice to see top players like them struggling, but you have to wonder how much more chances they are going to get 

Much better in the second Half Chalobah miles better than Matic and Cuadrado very impressive Hazard also looks lethal in a central role.

So the positives are we won the second despite it being against a very different Madrid team. The subs impressed when they came on. Hazard playing off the striker looks like it could be useful. Michy has been very good pre season just lacking the finish

The negatives, a CB pairing of Cahill- Terry is way too slow. Begovic is definitely just a backup. We still need serious investment in the transfer market to strengthen and unfortunately Natic appears to be finished.

Chuffed to bits about Chalobah paying so well.

Terrible 1st half, pretty decent second.

Chalobah was much better than oscar, and it helped matic raise his own game.

Cuadrado was easily our best winger today, jury will still be out on him until he does it in the prem though.

Michy looks quality, needs to build his sharpness in front of goal, it made a massive difference having him and traore actually causing them problems.

Hazard took his goals well, maybe his future lies in a front 2???

Big improvement in the second half, we took the control over the game and moved the ball by our way. It's still pre-season, we should test as many as things we can to come at our best to the season. 

 

- Aina and Azpilicueta were our best players.

- Oscar has been really poor, like always one good performance and then he is a shadow.

- Loftus-Cheek can't really find himself there, striker is not for him in my opinion, but who knows, Conte is the man.

- Chalobah, Batshuayi, Cuadrado all of the have changed the game for good. Chalobah with a great performance once again.

- Hazard looks hungry, good to see him scoring and smiling. 

 

Looking forward, even after that performance I'm positive because we're learning from the mistakes and I'm sure Conte will get us to the best, COME ON CHELS!

Looks like that season in italy did him well despite not featuring much. He looks ready now, it would great if he made the break through, he has been captaining chelsea sides for 10 years already.

Matic is a lost case, Oscar, Pedro and RLC difficult to claim a spot in the first 11 come next season, Chalobah, Cuadrado and Batman looked good, Defence is still a nightmare.

 

We were only able to score against Madrid C team and that says a lot.

Nate played really well. Deserves a start next game. Hope he keeps it consistent.

Haz is several levels above the players on the pitch and it showed.

Cuadrado and Moses decent.

The rest were all varying levels of trash.

Problem is we can't push higher with Terry and Cahill. We need changes in defence asap.
