Hopefully this gives conte a bit of a wake up call. Fabregas needs to start and Alonso needs to come in at left back.

Well Conte, you clearly needed a sign that some of the players at this club just don't do the job and now you have got it. Ivanovic and Oscar are just not good enough, Willian can't play the killer ball, Matic struggles under pressure and Hazard is very inconsistent. Oscar and Ivanovic have to be dropped, i have been saying it for so long now but how many more times do we have the see the same thing from them until the club decide that enough is enough ? Matic may have set the goal up tonight but he was awful. Just when you think he and Kante are building a decent partnership, he goes and put's in a game like that. I thought he was starting to turn the corner but that is clearly not the case after tonight.

I'm so disappointed with that performance tonight, too many players played like they did last season. Ivanovic, Oscar, Matic, Willian ( even though he was our player of the season last season ) i just don't think they are good enough for the level we are trying to reach.

Top 4 will be very hard to achieve if these 4 are starting every game for us this season. 

I dont blame Conte I blame the players. thats was up to them to turn up tonight. they are more than capable of playing liverpool or any team, they just have to do it.

Well we should definitely should get to top4 but title wise i think this squad is just not good enough. Maybe time will tell but Ivanovich time is up and Fabregas should be a starter. At least his long balls get to the target and seem dangerous. Willian is also frustating.

This is why some people don't like the international breaks, can really do you in when you've buitl some momentum.

Saying that game was lost on the pitch AND from the bench. Conte needs to understand that this isn't the Serie A where you can control the pace of games relatively easier and delay your subs.

I think its atrocious that you can be losing by 2 goals and fail to make a single sub and eventually delay all subs till 83rd minute. I give the players coming on credit but for god sake they are not miracle workers.

And there endeth the laughable predictions that we have gone from 10th to title contenders by adding one Leicester player to our team.

Better second half but that owes a lot to Liverpool taking their foot off the gas and sitting back.

5th or 6th will be an impressive feat for us this season. We've definitely got more fight than last year but there's not really any more quality. And if we fall much further adrift of the top two or three teams in the next few weeks it'll be interesting to see how long the fight continues. Following the Swansea cock-up this is a very bad result for morale.

Also Pedro and Moses should not both be coming on. They are not match winners.

Tactically out thought tonight, no idea why Conte thought it such a good idea to sit off a team that is known to be as defensively poor as us. Having got the goal back , did we really give it a go? Seven mins left for our subs to make any kind of influence on the match. Disappointed in manager. As for the team, the defensive shambles of the first goal set this result up, five players marking the invisable man. Performances like this will help us regain our mid table status with ease. Simply not good enough from all tonight.

Conte has had a reputation of making unduly late subs.

But hopefully he's suddenly gotten a very clear idea of what his first XI might be (not Ivanovic/Cahill) and why.

I reckon he's right with that. We did look timid and scared of them. 

I wonder if any shedender thinks that changes were made in a timely manner. I am seriously struggling to understand the logic of 83rd minute substitutions. I would rather risk changes at half time which such poor performance in the first half, than wait till the end and hope to get a draw at home. There is taking control of the game and clutching at straws.

The players take their share of the blame with the sloppy defending, they though will have been under instruction to sit off Liverpool and concede possession first half.

I think i agree with that assessment. We did look frightened of them, it sucks to say it but that is exactly what it looked like in that first half.

Well put. I want to see ruthlessness from Conte now. Get the under-performers out of the team. 

Absolute joke today so many time we failed to retain possession and it didn't help with conte keeping on the same useless players like Ivanovic,Oscar,Matic we have much better replacements for all off them who could make the difference such as Marcos alonso who is 10x the player Ivanovic is anymore Nathan Chalobah instead off Matic who is a proven U21 who nevers seems too get the chance he needs and then finally Loftus Cheek who has absolutely controlled games with his power and desire too run at defenders just overall disappointing from chelsea....
