November 30, 20169 yr Are there any specific teams from the Championship on down that people would love to see join the Premier League? If so, who and why? Edited November 30, 20169 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
November 30, 20169 yr My local side obviously. Other than that, I've always had a bit of a soft side for Sheffield Wednesday.

December 1, 20169 yr Leyton Orient (intriguing London club) Leeds Sheff Wednesday Nottingham Forest Coventry Newcastle
December 1, 20169 yr I'd really like to see Stenhousemuir F.C. in Scotland's top flight. Also Blackburn and a team from Sheffield would be nice and as others have said Charlton Athletic.
December 1, 20169 yr Brentford. Great club, new stadium on the horizon, nice away day for us travel wise. Basically a replacement for Fulham. Bees up Fulham down is a great, great chant. Edited December 1, 20169 yr by Charles Ryder
December 1, 20169 yr Shrewsbury - being able to leave half an hour before kick off to see Chelsea play rather than a twelve hour round trip would be great! And I agree about Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday.
December 1, 20169 yr Welling United. My local non-league team. About a twenty minute bus journey from where I live. I try and go to see Welling a couple of times a season. Also, there is a great micro-pub just across from Welling's ground. As others have said, Brentford would be good. The current stadium has a pub on each corner.
December 1, 20169 yr Leeds, Sheffield United, Charlton - and having Millwall up for a couple of years again would be fun too.
December 1, 20169 yr Leeds and Millwall just to inflict damage on the premier league 'brand'. Bit of revenge for sky ruining football.
December 2, 20169 yr Carlisle Utd as my Uncles mate played for them back when they were in Division 1 in the mid 1970s for one season. Also I could drive the 2 hrs to watch them play at home v Chelsea.

December 3, 20169 yr Poole Town lol Probably Forrest, Derby and Leeds I think, I even miss the QPR games, because they are such a bitter bunch. Remember when the QPR fan came on here before the Champions League final, giving it large about how we were going to get a hammering?
December 5, 20169 yr Charlton. Local to me and used to go to most of their home games before i got a season ticket at Chelsea.
December 5, 20169 yr AFC Wimbledon, they are the nearest team to me currently and I remember growing up we had some memorable games against them like the FA Cup Semi Final in 1997. I also remember one of the first games I ever saw at the Bridge against them when a dodgy backpass by Frank Sinclair/Eddie Newton played in Carl Cort I think to score. It would also be an incredible story in the history of Football if they could rise from the ashes all the way back to the Premier League. Edited December 5, 20169 yr by Celery1989

December 6, 20169 yr I'd like to see Bradford back so that the victims of the Valley Parade fire receive the recognition and possibly the justice - a thorough objective investigation has not been carried out as far as I've read - that the Hillsborough 96 have received. This is absolutely harrowing footage. At the peak, the fire literally spread faster than the fastest person in the world can run, and the doors nearest the flames had been locked. Even the fact that they embarrassed us in the FA Cup a couple years ago is reason for me to wish them well. After all, isn't that the magic of the FA Cup?
December 6, 20169 yr And that their owner reminded me of Elmo Putney. They deserve recognition for that alone.
December 7, 20169 yr Bristol City... Because I live quite close to the ground Bolton .... Because they celebrated with us when we won the league after 50 years
December 7, 20169 yr Leeds, Newcastle, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Derby , Forest and Oldham( cos they're local ) I'm a traditionalist, the above grounds are places I used to love to go to watch matches at. As much as its fun to see your rivals get relegated (Leeds), that only lasts for a season and sooner or later you miss the clashes.
