It's my theory that both aggressiveness and passive aggressiveness are used by people who can't stand being called out, and can't admit that the other person has a point. I think we've seen another prime example to support my theory.

July 9, 20179 yr This place was a lot more peaceful and enjoyable before all of the members who got banned from other Chelsea forums decided to sign up here... Lucky for them the mods on here seem to be more lenient.

July 9, 20179 yr Easy people easy. No need to throw daggers. Although Sanchez-topic is the most suitable for it as it is completely unnecessary.
July 9, 20179 yr No idea how reliable it is, but found it just a few minutes ago:http://dailycannon.com/2017/07/alexis-sanchez-open-to-chelsea-move-as-betting-suspended-on-manchester-city-switch/

I don't see how a player cashing in on there talent's makes them a prick, do i love Chelsea ? Absolutely, but if i was a player on 150k a week and i got a sniff that there's potential to triple that i'd be all over it.

Dont get me wrong, i see why Sanchez wants an increase, he should be on a bit more, as he is worth it, but asking for what was it, 380k? That just stinks of greed, and is a kick in the nuts to the fans whose ticket prices are rising to accommodate for these ridiculous demands.
July 10, 20179 yr Pity Arsenal will never sell him to us, would really fit into the team well at striker.
July 10, 20179 yr It's cheaper to pay him 400k a week than buy a replacement assuming there is one available, that is the the card he is playing. If they want to keep him and force him to waste a year without champions league then he is pushing them to pay up.We all know they won't pay and It has nothing to do with being greedy, he is just trying to put them in a position in which they are forced to sell.
July 10, 20179 yr Courtois Cahill Luiz Rudiger Azip Kante Bakayoko Sandro Sanchez Costa (PLEASE STAY!) Hazard Dreamy!

July 10, 20179 yr Strangely I still think we may be silently in on him. Maybe watching developments in order to hijack a deal ourselves?
July 10, 20179 yr Sure, the will replace their best player with a cheaper player to save some cash making their fans super happy in the process. That's not going to happen, they need to get the best they can to replace him and that won't be cheap. The main point remains being Alexis is putting them in a position where is more profitable for them to sell.
July 10, 20179 yr Well. We should put in a world record bid for this man now that our striker situation is what it is. Losing him to city now would just be awful.

He never was in our grasp, we all fully knew it's going to be almost impossible to sign him from Arsenal. He'd need to hand in transfer request and really push for the move if it were to happen. City always have been the likeliest destination.
July 11, 20179 yr he will probably stay and leave on a free next season. he chooses where he wants to go then and not to pushed into going somewhere he doesn't.

And get a massive signing on bonus plus enormous wages in lieu of a transfer fee...he could be the first £400k plus a week player on an extended contract...plus Arsenal will bend over backwards to look after him as they need his performances to help them get back into CL either through the league or through Europa Cup...and from his prospective, in a world cup year he's guaranteed regular football in familiar surroundings... July 12, 20179 yr I agree him staying is now the most likely outcome, but now with Bayern signing James surely that only leaves us and City as the potential clubs? I know it's always going to be hard to get his signature but I can't see why we aren't going all out for him.
