Can't imagine how bad Batshuayi has to be to stay on a bench when this version of Costa is on the pitch. Just sub him off Conte. I can't stand the idea of watching that sh*t show for another 45 minutes, unless of course he gets himself sent off.

Hope the ref gives us an equally soft penalty decision second half.

God I hate Stoke and their tactics. No doubt Crouch and Adam will appear to add to the misery.

As others have said, must get Costa off before he sees red. Just hope we can nick a second and see the game out but a point wouldn't be the end of the world.

We've allowed them to disrupt our play. Big half time talk needed from Conte to put us back in focus, Costa in particular who is a red waiting to happen. Soft penalty but when you give the ref a decision shortly after he disallows a goal for the home side for the same offence... expect it to happen. Titles are won and lost at grounds like this , lets make sure its in our favour.

I've supported Chelsea for 45 years. Some people don't recognize it but Haz is the best player I've ever seen. He's there with George Best, Gascoingne, Ronaldo. Take him out and that's a huge huge hole, and that's what we just watched. Wiilian and Pedro did well, but they're not close to Haz.

Have the fouls been that bad ? This is nothing compared to the fouls from United's players on Monday. The stuff on Costa is nothing, i would say he's only be fouled twice, the rest of the time he is going down far too easily. He's constantly looking for contact. I would rather he just held up the ball and try and play one of our wingers in. He's not doing anything good out there for us today. It's all breaking down with him again. His mind isn't on the game of late and it's bringing out the Costa from last season.

He will probably be sent of if he continues with it. Stoke would most likely had more yellows or red cards with the later challanges, but Costa needlessly made way to much out of the duels at the start and the ref turned against him.

I would possibly have frabregas on and go 3-5-2 with Pedro and costa up top. To tray and control possession 

I know everyone, it seems, wants Diego off, and I understand the rationale, but this is the kind of match he gets the late winner. If Hazard was on the pitch, you might, but I think he has to stay on given the situation and go for it. We are going to have to get Cesc in there too soon, if we cannot get the lead early second half. I think we need Stoke to continue to focus on Costa and free some of the unlikely scorers (like Kante, Matic, Azpilicueta, etc) to get a few good looks at goal.

This is going to be a fight. This is where Conte can show he has answers for the these type clubs and has the second half tactics to win it.

Time to throw Batshuayi in at the deep end, I think. Costa's walking a tightrope and I can't see him making it to the end of the game without losing his head. Maybe Conte can talk some sense into him though, so who knows.

I expect (and hope) to see Fab to come on at some point, maybe for Matic or for Pedro (who will almost certainly get taken off anyway), depending on whether we're still chasing a goal.

I'm not suggesting we dive, but when were fouled we should do what Costa did and stay down, slow the game right down, force the ref to stop the fouling, or we spend half the game lay on the turf. 

Yer only a few fouls on Costa actually, that kick was a red, apart from that he's just over doing it
