I don't do gossip and celeb sh*te and media rumours but keep seeing bits about our supposedly new signing bakkywakkyyoko ono and his 'teasing social media postings' just sign or f.c. K off.

    I hate it when footballers fails to land correctly. Since MVG I've this sinking feeling whenever a player jumps in the air and I hope that they land correctly

    Even, If we don't sign another player in this window I think we have to give the bored credit. Last season I think the games we lost after going to 3 at the back we seemed to get almost manhandled in center mid.

    Bakayoko should be helping us to compete in that area (palace doesn't count, it was a freak game).

    Also we realy should have converted many more of our counter attacks last season. Love Diego as i do I don't think he the smoothest of players and we would often breakdown when the ball came to him. Hoping that Morata provides us with that better transition and really bring our other attacking players in to it.

    Not ever seen Rudiger but by all accounts most people saying he can play a bit and that seems to be what Conte wants in a center back as we have this crazy play it out philosophy that gives me pulpatations, but hey who am i to argue with Conte. 

    All these clearly address potential short falls from last season so can be little doubt that conte has been backed 100% this summer 

    The number1 thing we have done this window is reduced the average age of the squad/1st team:

    1. Costa (28) replaced by Morata (24)

    2. Matic (28) replaced by Bakayoko (22)

    3. JT (36) replaced by Rudiger (24)

    As for quality, I feel we have been able to replace the quality, not add to it (Outs: Ake, Costa, Matic, JT, Bego, Chalobah) (Ins: Andreas, Morata, Rudiger,Willy, Baker).

    So far, we have done the bare minimum. Buys like LWB (even if we integrate Baba, that would be an upgrade on the options we had last season)/RWB would be the ones that would really add a dimension or 2 to the squad and make us able to compete on all fronts.

    So it looks like we aren't resting on our laurel's this time after a title, i wonder how much has to do with the manager's. Jose mark 2 and Carlo aren't half as driven as Conte is, dare i say it Antonio's got a Fergie like sheer drive to keep up momentum. Times gone by we would have foolishly passed up on  Rudiger, Bakayoko and Morata to try and force the Chalobah brothers and Abraham in the squad before there ready.
