April 16, 20188 yr Jesus wept. That’s the sort of thing that reminds me that many of our clubs are no longer the clubs we thought we supported. They’ve been taken from us with our blessing as we have sold our souls for the money to buy the players to win trophies, and those that provided the money have done things like that. At this moment you won’t find a City fan that has any issue with it of course. They even believe that Abu Dhabi has spent this money for no reason other than for the good of making half of a city happy and regenerating a complete sh*thole. I’ve been past there recently and apart from the stadium and training complex, it’s still a sh*thole. And the fans are still a morose bunch of arrogant twats.
April 17, 20188 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43791511 A penalty was awarded after players had already left the pitch for half-time in Mainz's Bundesliga win over relegation rivals Freiburg on Monday. Referee Guido Winkmann called both sides back from the dressing room after consulting the video assistant referee (VAR) system and penalising Freiburg for handball. Mainz midfielder Pablo de Blasis scored the penalty to put the hosts 1-0 up. The second half was delayed by fans throwing toilet paper onto the pitch. It was not related to the penalty decision but instead a protest against Bundesliga fixtures being played on Monday nights. De Blasis scored a second on 78 minutes to secure victory, taking Mainz above Freiburg on goal difference and eight points clear of automatic relegation, while putting the visitors into the relegation play-off spot in 16th. Mainz initially had the penalty appeal turned down after right-back Daniel Brosinski's cross deflected off Freiburg centre-back Marc-Oliver Kempf's hand and was saved by keeper Alexander Schwolow. As the players departed the pitch, Winkmann was told to consult VAR and ran over to the other side of the pitch to watch the replay on a monitor. Winkmann overturned the decision and awarded the hosts a penalty before having to recall the entire Freiburg side and the handful of Mainz players who had left the pitch. Following a delay of over six minutes De Blasis scored the penalty in the bottom left corner and Winkmann blew again for half-time, during which the unfortunate Kempf was substituted. De Blasis added a lucky second as his shot rolled over the line after hitting the inside of the post, with Schwolow out of his goal having passed the ball straight to Mainz midfielder Robin Quaison. The second half was delayed by fans throwing toilet roll on the pitch in protest against Monday night games Analysis European football writer Andy Brassell on BBC Radio 5 live Potentially one of the most vital goals in the fight at the bottom, but a new low for VAR. The ref maybe shouldn't have sent them off as quickly, it depends on how quickly VAR contacted him. The problem is not the technology, it is the process. I can't understand why referees are involved in the decision-making process at all, if it is to be used for clear and obvious errors, surely the VAR has to tell the referee what the decision is. In this case you've got a couple thousand fans off to the bar and they come back thinking it is 0-0. I still think the penalty is debatable.
April 17, 20188 yr City could face a two-window transfer ban if found guilty of breaching rules when signing 16 year-old Benjamin Garre. Verdict is next week. I'd love for this to happen! They wouldn't be able to strengthen this summer, or next.

I mean everyone loves to despise/hate us. City does that it's fine and should be acclaimed by all, despite the fact they did f**k all in the UCL again! We do that back then (even if not as much as City's), we're doomed to be hated as much (if not more !) as Daesh for the next century!!! Despite the fact we reached the QF in our first ever UCL campaign; went to the semis in our 2nd and did better than arsenal in two campaigns than them in 13 !!! Also, when we won it in 2012, although most people were obliged to congratulate our performance, some ***** at BBC and other crap media (however few they may have been tbf) said it was a shame for newcastle and sp*ds!! And when we won the EL and thus becoming the first english club to win all 3 european cups, the same happened (most congratulated, but the same ***** tried to diminish our accomplishments again ) ! And I am not even talking about the disgraceful media coverage our 2015 and 2017 title wins... Thank God for Foreign Media !!! they treat us better than f**** english media !!! The only place other supporters and "color" commentators/pundits would dream to see us is the championship. But it does not change the fact that CFC = 1 UCL. sh*tty, sp*ds, le arse = 0. Also : Cheslea FC = First english club to win all 3 European trophies in 2013. And they say we ain't got history ... What's theirs then ^^ !!! I think only the yankees may got more hate than us hahaha ^^ ! Edited April 17, 20188 yr by Londonisblue

Sorry, I was being uncouth, it was a poor attempt at a joke. Of course I want spuds to lose, we still have a chance to overtake them. And as you say, they have a propensity to fall apart this part of the season
