Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018

So at the end of the day, even with our disastrous lose the weekend was not so bad after all. Everybody around us dropped points, except Spurs. Maybe the people who though we had a chance to catch City are the most disappointed.

Has the league title ever been decided this early in the history of the top league in England? I know it won't be mathematical for a while but there's no way on earth City don't win it by a country mile. City can start fielding youth players in league games now to save themselves for their cup games.

I didn’t  think we were ever gonna catch city to be fair.

we cocked up to many times before yesterday’s result.

As far as I'm concerned that was the best result for us. Let City romp the title this season. But, if we don't spend next summer closing the gap on them then we might as well start bring through some youth players, because we ain't winning sh*t for a while!

With Bailly and Pogba things could go different, anyways I guess we've got the champions already, can't see us or someone else catching them. When you only put 200m on defence, then you got the result.

That's what I mean but I saw a lot of people, on different places too, still having hope they'll slip. If they were gonna have bad results, was gonna the week before when they won 3 in a row with goals in the last 10 min but they pass it, so fair play to them.

only chance to eclipse city is us to show up big time in the UCL! this is a herculean task due to the thin squad we have... but we have to go big in the UCL, even if it costs us a bit in the PL... this won't be easy by any means, but we are chelsea as eden said !

If they keep playing with cheat mode on and spending infinite money with no repuercussions, they'll dominate for the next decade.

I love your enthusiasm, but we ain't got a chance in the CL.

I guess we'll have to learn how to reappreciate the magic of the FA and League cups :)!! Also, this will make wednesday night football (UCL) worth watching... albeit the risk of it being short lived due to us drawing a big gun tommorrow
