Yeah we shouldnt be mad over not getting lorente and Danilo etc.....yeah our squad would have been thicker but we can do alot better and thats for damn sure.

It seems we can get Sandro in jan.....aubamiyang too......will we go after the kill and bring them onboard? Probably not.

We'll most likely get gazumped to Sandro by Man City who'll throw a billion pounds at Juve to get him while we piss about with lowball offers.

and you know what's the worst about it? Citeh buying him for 359 million £ and the UEFA clapping with both hands and not doing any investigation whatsoever ... I mean Mbappé was bought 200 million £ for having scored 15 goals !!! those prices are ridiculous!!!

This won't make me very popular but I think Liverpool are going to win the title under Klopp, not this season but in the very near future.

For a few weeks now I've felt their attack is as good as any other team's in Europe. Their "awesome foursome" were all bought at very reasonable prices too. They've done remarkably well in the transfer market. Think how much those four players could fetch now.

As I was watching Willian mess up a couple of great counter-attacking opportunities last night, I couldn't help thinking of Salah, who would have certainly ensured at least one of those opportunities led to a goal, with his skill, his vision, his pace and his opportunism. He has the ability to make opponents pay.

Worryingly, if you look at Klopp's career, he doesn't start with a bang at his clubs, unlike Jose for example. He tends to start slowly and get better as the years progress, and he has the ability to maintain that improvement over a good length of time. What he did at Dortmund was phenomenal and it looks like he's replicating that at Liverpool. Once again, he's creating a dynamic attacking side, who link up really well and go forward in breathtaking and lethal fashion. If he gets himself a dominant CM, a dominant CB and a goalkeeper he'll really be in business.

It amazes me how few genuine danger men we have in comparison to our rivals, despite all the money spent. If we lose Hazard to injury for any length of time we have no chance of winning something, and if we lost Morata as well, we'd have no chance of finishing top four. We basically have two attackers that could be considered genuine threats. It's something that needs addressing IMO.

Pool would get hammered by PSG/Real and get frustrated by Juve and even us! we were unlucky against them at Anfield. Granted we conceded some opportunities, but had equal if not slightly more opportunities to score than them! They may win the PL, but UCL is too far for them! I mean, they blew a 3-0 lead against sevilla and the hammering of moscow tonight was against utter dross. City are definitely a more credible candidate than them and their attack is more impressive to me than dippers'. Also, Klopp had Lewandowsji, Reus and Gotze at their peak with BVB... He does not have 3 players like that at dippers, safe Salah but I don't see 2 other players at the same level as him in his team. On the Hazard and Morata point, same could be said about pool and all the PL teams bar City of course who have a ridiculous amount of options.

I disagree about attacking options. We have the least amount of attacking options out of the top 6 teams. And out of those teams I'd swap Morata with most front line players from those teams except United's. We need to do the business in January and bring in some better options or we could end up potless this season.

Must say DB, when the dippers are good, they are very good. Attacking wise they are up there with anyone at present.

BUT will they be able to hang onto their players? Can see Coutinho leaving sooner rather than later and that will be a massive loss for them. That said they don't rely on any one player as much as we do on Hazard.

Just think Klopp is a "nearly-man" - doesn't have quite what it takes to get his side to do it over a whole season.

Liverpool won't win much until they sort their defense out, which is something Klopp seems incapable of getting right. Even in his Dortmund days he set up defenses that had obvious weaknesses. Just look at the mess they got themselves in in his last season for the club.

Davey youve given me f**king nightmares now mate....:indifferent0018:

Liverpool have to compete against us, utd and city to even get an automatic champions league spot, let alone win the title. If liverpool fell out of the top6 then they would have the best chnace, but their second string is poor and with more fixtures I just don't think they can do it.

I feel like I'm turning into a right miserable bar steward on here, but here goes. It's pissing me right off that both City & Pool are absolutely destroying teams going forward with players we deemed not good enough for us! I know it's not as simple as that, but for what they've paid for Salah/De Bruyne we'd have to spend 3 times as much for someone of similar caliber. And we already had the on our books!!!

Liverpool were very underrated last season I thought, Klopp ridiculously overachieved with the squad he had.

I think he's done an amazing job but with that being said they were getting hammered by teams not too long ago, they're still very vulnerable at the back and I think if they were ever at the top of the pecking order they would crumble with the pressure.

But you're right about Hazard & Morata, I think we have a lack of depth. Pedro and Willian aren't consistent enough, Hazard needs someone better to play alongside with.

Former blue still coming up with the goods.

Perfectly executed too. Chest control = perfect, contact with the ball = perfect, placement of the shot = perfect.

Klopp did extremely well at Dortmund because Bayern were extremely sh*t.

He hasn't shown anything that leads me to believe he's going anywhere with this Liverpool side.

It still scores goals and can't defend to save its life.

Him getting the better of Guardiola / United / us over the next few years is not going to happen.

Too many donkeys and bottlejobs, not to mention too many games for his all out run around like headless chickens style to go the distance.

But hey - they'll put 7 past some accountants? Can they get a trophy for that ... ?

They had a great front three in Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling which was let down by their poor defence. This one will go the same way. Coutinho will go to Barcelona and Salah will probably move to Spain at some point.
