Sorry but every time i watch him he didn`t impress me even a little. Not even close to top back Carvajal is the real deal, not Danilo. Danilo for this 2 season, could not come even close to Carvajal level, not even close.

And to pay 30mln. to Danilo is idi**** as hell. He isn`t better then Moses, and to be fair Moses have perfect season. He have just 2 or 3 weak matches, but he was carrying an injury. He was great all season, don`t know why people are crying about him.

He is perfect in attack and in defence and always go back to cover his position, great player at great age.

Can we upgrade on him ? YES, but not with Danilo. If we wanted a upgrade, we should have gone for Walker for example.

And Danilo as i said never make good impression atleast for me. And we will pay them more, then what he cost them 2 years back, while he was reserve all of the time, that is idiotic.

I will be better if we give 60mln. for someone who is clearly upgrade, then giving 30, for someone who has been subs and it`s not better then the player we have in that position.

 

Report from Brazil....they say that personal terms have been agreed with Danilo...he wants to go and has begged RM to lower their asking price €35m to get the deal done...we previously have offered €31m...he was offered to Juventus last year for €20m...

He was pretty good. However we had no suitable cover. No one who could do what he did. Those Moses-legs are hard to come by.

Need this wrapped up soon.

And we still need a left wing back can't rely on Alonso for the whole season.

Agree! Aurier is available for sale. Madrid have no market for him bar Juve & there is no way Juve are paying upfront for Madrid’s deadwood.

To be fair, people said the same last season about Alonso. Quite a few questioned his £22m price tag when we signed him and some were saying Fiorentina fans were glad to see the back of him. 

That one worked out alright in the end.

If we don't sign Sandro I think Baba will be kept around to provide cover for Alonso this season and he'll compete with Kenedy. 

RWB is more important for cover in my opinion because there's no obvious choice. Dave is always going to play in the back three when fit. Unless Rudiger can play there but from what I understand he's a centre back that can cover as a fullback but maybe not as a wingback. 

Get Jeromy Toljan...we can play RWB and offer cover elsewhere in the back...

I really don't think we need another RWB. Moses, Dave and Rudiger can all play there. I wish we'd focus more on the left side.

Dave and Rudiger are very defensive wingback options, while Moses usually makes the wrong descisions in the final third and struggles to deliver a cross into the box. We also have minimal creativity in our central midfield, when Fabregas is not playing. In my opinion we need attacking wingback options with pace on both sides, we already have the defensive options.

ForeverCarefree i never said anything about Alonso before i see him playing for us. And he did great job for us, but hes speed is a big problem. Let`s see if we can imrove his speed a bit in the pre. I think our cardio will work on him for that, but i doubt it will change to the level hes speed need to be.

But i watched Danilo and he did not impress me at all. He always look to me like a weak link and make stup** mistakes. He is just not good enough and no way he would worth 30mln.  Moses then should be atleast 50mln.

Do you agree with the price? When Madrid buy him for less and now 2 years later, when he is older and was totaly reserve and not good enough for starting, they want to sell him for higher price, NO WAY IN HELL, no one will pay them that.
Real Madrid lately are f**** sh** on the market. They want crazy high prices for their players, and they only sell unnecessary players and they still want insane high prices.

I say F*** them and get younger player, who atleast possess great talanet, and can be future world class player, unlike Danilo, who never will be in my opinion.

Not good enough to me and not fast enough, Moses > Danilo in every aspect.

And you all forget how good Moses was, yeah he has some bad games, but even the best has it. And to be fair a lot of World Class back have a lot worst games then Moses have last year. And he practically have no alternative, and was tired as hell at the end and was even playing with injury, same goes for Alonso and Luiz.

Of course that is just my opinion, but it`s based on what i saw, and not on some video highlights with his best moments ....

I do agree we need RWB, as well as LWB. So far the only position we are okay are GK and CB, the rest need reinforcment. We need 1 top class Winger for our right midfielder, if we kept Baker, we need 1 more CM or mb 2, who should be Kante/Baka alternative and if we sell Michy, we will need 2 Strikers atleast.

Pedro played RWB when Moses was out and that's far from ideal, neither Azpi or Rudiger would be as comfortable as Danilo, I think it's a sensible signing. Are we sure Kennedy is leaving? He's a talent and we shouldn't give up on him, strikes me that he could be a decent LWB, given more time.

Kenedy can't defend...gave away a penalty yesterday in a friendly against Fulham...he needs to be moved on...get Toljan in as RWB...tore up the U21 championship in that position...the only reason we wanted Danilo was as bait for Sandro...now he's not coming I say let RM stick their inflated prices for mediocre players up their arse...

It was a harsh penalty tbf.

Personally I think Kenedy could do a decent job as a back up LWB, he looks good going forward and whilst he is still a little rash defensively it can be worked on and I don't think it would take to much for him to become proficient (as proficient as Moses anyway).

I also think if we are looking for our main midfield partnership to be Kante - Bakayoko/Matic, attacking wingbacks are a necessity.    

Kenedy is bad, he is not good enough in defence and loses stupid balls and leave the team open to counter attack. He always forget to go back fast enough, unlike Alonso and Moses, who always are where they needed to be.
