I think the better choice would be to use Cahill against Stoke, when we really need someone good in the air. Rudiger and Christensen have performed better  in my opinion when given the chance. I also don't agree with 3-4-3, with Kante and Fabregas in central midfield. We have the chance to dominate their midfield with a 3-5-2 formation and using Bakayoko instead of Pedro, who has not performed like he did last year so far.

Not convinced by Cahil and Fabregas starting either, but hopefully Conte has a plan here.

I think I'm starting to understand why Alonso scores so many free kicks.
The sun glimmers off his golden hair, it blinds the unlucky goalkeeper and then, like a thunderbolt from Zeus himself, the ball strikes the back of the net.
This is why Conte put more emphasis on finding depth for Moses, Conte knew he could never replace the titan that is Marcos Alonso. 

Disappointed that Baka isn't playing. Think we look better with 3 in midfield but I will trust Conte. 

I just hope it is not a limp performance which sometimes we can be guilty in the big games. 

Having Rudiger on the left has made Alonso play to a much higher level so far this season. Why weaken a large part of the team to accomodate a player like Cahill. 

Interesting to see Hazard not start. No other real surprises. Cahill as captain was always going to come back in. Conte also right to start Fab at home, he's been great so far. Cmon Blues! 

This must be Cahill's chance to really cement that LCB role.

I know the situations aren't exactly the same but as a fanbase, I feel we always have a lot more respect than other clubs to former players.

Indeed, Cech went directly from us to them. Cesc went abroad, they had the chance to take him back, didn't want him so he came here. There's really no excuse for them booing him IMO.
