You can see Bats trying to link up the play but it's almost like it's not his natural game.

well yea in context he is a professional footballer of a decent standard but the type we need to lead a line by himself he is not and never will be I don't think, I like him I was a big proponent but he looks like a daddy longlegs in the wind when it's played into him, he is a bemba ba, a goal poacher. Good impact sub with another striker.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see Batshuayi succeed and be the striker we need. He seems to be a good bloke as well, very likeable. But tonight he seems to be the only player going forward that cannot shake a defender. They are stuck to him like glue just like all of his PL performances. Everyone else seems to be creating space except him. Come on Michy, we need you!!

I don't care if Zappa meant it or not, it looked freaking amazing either way!

I think he is trying too hard and the pressure of proving himself is getting to him. Can't knock his effort, but his level of play is nowhere near good enough for him to be a rotation player with Morata. It would be great to have two world class strikers. I really like Bats' attitude and effort, but his play just isn't cutting it :/ Hope it changes and I am left looking stupid, as he is very likable and seems like he loves the club.

He does everything right.......until the final ball. If he got that part of his game right, he would be one of the best footballers on the planet.

For me Christensen has been our best player here. Just bossing the game.

Not sure, and could understand if this was Atletico or even Roma or heaven forbid Barcelona/Real. But it is Qarabag, which should give him immense confidence to go out and play loose like everyone else.
