This is the game we were aiming to get Kante back for and we didn't risk him against Bournemouth so can't see him not starting. Unless of course we are saving him for Utd at the weekend, in which case stick Luiz in midfield and Christensen into the back line.

 

Huge match. It'll be very interesting to see how Antonio manages Kante. After the way Roma ran riot down the flanks I could see us in more of a 3-4-3 with Pedro tracking Kolarov more and Azpi on the right. Can't wait. A win and we'd just about be through. 

We better keep N'golo for Sunday. We will continue to the next stage even if we lose this but if we fail beating United, there will be no chances for the title left. 

I agree, must not rush him back too valuable to risk with the rest of the season ahead including the visit of JM's Utd.

Confident we will get a result, we will be going for it, a win would seal the qualification. This season we have been better away, hope it continues. Big call on whether comes back, personally I believe we should keep the same 5 from Saturday. However, I believe Azpi will be on the RWB and Cahill in. Their wingers ripped us apart last time around, we have to defend better. I'm positive because we have been creating chances lately, hopefully we will put away some finally.

Just hope Contes done his homework after the first game because if we play anywhere near has bad again we're f**ked...Roma ain't gonna change their game plan but we have to and if we do Iam positive we can get a result...KTBFFH!!!

Yes and No. Yes, even if we lose tonight, we will still qualify provided that we beat qarabag in azerbaidjan. And indeed, a win against Manure will enable us to keep up with man sh*ty and even close the gap in case of them fcuking up against le arse. But at the same time I think No, no it is not guaranted we qualify for UCL as we finish against ATM, which will be fighting for qualification and a win in azerbaidjan won't be a walk in the park unlike our first game. However, I do agree that a defeat against manure will be synonymous with us losing the title. But UCL should be the top priority for CFC. Granted, PL is important, but if, for CFC to make a great UCL run (i.e, winning it) , it will require us to drop some PL games and the title (considering the thin squad depth we have) ... I'll be fine with that! I mean, who remembers that in 2012 we finished 6th in the league . Personally, I don't think this will heavily depend on whether Kanté is fit ... although it would definitely help !

I'm trying to enjoy this one. It is hard but I'll try. Draw would be a good result but we can win.

If it's a two man midfield with Cesc we are going to have major major problems.  

is anyone aware if this is being televised in the US? i checked last night and saw that they are choosing to show the Man Utd v Benfica match on the one channel that has CL rights.

Alternatively, what channel is showing it in the UK, and I can try Mobdro to tune into that channel?

PS. I've found an App (possibly US only) called LiveSoccerTV.  It shows you all teh channels in the US showing the games you want to see, and then you can also go to an International Coverage tab and then find the listings by country.  

US: Fox Sports 2

UK: BT Sport 2

In the USA its live on the fox network, where I am in LA its on FS 2.

Fans already got attacked at a pub by Roma ultra’s. Every club has their minority unfortunately.

 Yep, it doesn't surprise me.

If its a 2 man midfield I would want to see Kante and Drinkwater together, largely because Bakayoko has been a bit sloppy recently in my eyes his mistakes leading directly to some goals we have conceded. Obviously Kante isn't 100% so I wouldn't want him to play the full match and Bakayoko would have to come on in his place.

With what happened at the Bridge, i expect Roma to play the same tactics, and if they do, i think we will struggle again. We need to be the ones dictating play a bit more if we want to get anything out of this one.

I think we need to see Danny Drinkpints start alongside Baka and Kante in midfield for this, he's a bit more aggressive than Cesc in the tackle and gets about the pitch more. If Kante can't play i think we'll have difficulty.

This would be my ideal lineup but I fear that Kante and Drinky are not 100% ready yet and Conte will go with Bakayoko and Cesc in midfield.  I will cry....

if the u19's result today is anything to go by, we will get the win tonight. the u19's lost in the first leg at home, but won 1-2 today.

Yeah please not a midfield of Baka/Fab.

 

If Kante and Drinkwater are ok to start then a midfield 3 of Kante/Drinkwater/Baka is a must, I'm confident we will control the midfield battle with this midfield, and then bring on Fab after 60-70mins.
