how many teams have good quality in depth? apart from maybe city, who else? if any team makes 9 changes like we have tonight their side would be average too. you can say this for spurs. the same for liverpool. same for utd. same for arsenal. you can say the same for maybe real madrid, barcelona and bayern munich too. the fact is, this is what we will have to deal with for the time being because we can't just throw money around like city can any more. we need to rely on either youth or buying cheap potential. i am all for playing more youth players, and it's why in this game it's made no sense not to start a couple with the hunger they would bring.

Pedro put a ball in from the left, and if you watched Batshuayi it was comical. it looked like he was actually trying to mark the defender, rather than get away from him. 

I know some of these boys haven't played a lot recently, but there is no excuses for being this poor.

To be fair, we won on the background of faltering Man U, Man C and other big clubs.  They have upped their level, we haven't, and now we need to adjust our expectations from high to moderate.

100% correct, and its so clear to see, conte see it also which will probably mean he leaves in summer, chelsea had a 7 year head start on psg/city, and they have flew past us, the board/commercial side have royally effed it up

Liverpool and Utd have very good depth.

Where are all the Batshuayi fanboys now? There is a reason he only gets 10 minutes when Morata is tired at the end of a game.  Whenever he starts, he makes my gran look like Pele, even with her broken hip.

There's players who play alot more often than others, there's some seasoned pros who have won many competitions and played in world cups etc, but lets pick on the one guy who averages 2 mins a game

Thing is these fringe players should really step up. No one is really showing any signs. I think Conte got this assembly wrong. Wrong types in midfield.
