August 29, 20223 yr We are down to bare bones in the midfield, yet we are desperate to terminate Barkley's contract. Either he's terrible like Drinkwater, or the manager is not thinking straight.
August 29, 20223 yr Todd is really clearing house. Much more focused squad, and younger high potential players will take Barkley's place in the squad. Good luck Ross. Loved that goal vs. Liverpool in FA Cup!

Or he is on 200k a week And billy gilmour has been given the number 35 shirt implicating he might be a backup I did like this goal

Shame it never worked out here for Barkley - I always thought he would have 1 good game and then 3 games where he went missing completely. Hope he manages to get his career back on track. Would be a good option for most midtable Premier League Sides.
August 30, 20223 yr He's a good player that was stunted by injuries. Way too slow in the head for modern PL.

September 5, 20223 yr Quite a few Premier League rejects alumni at Favre's Nice: Schmeichel, Ramsey, Barkley, Pépé, Schneiderlin, Lemina...

They've been starting Danny Ward instead of replacing him with anyone decent. They are now three points adrift at the bottom of the league with the worst defensive record.

I dunno, I've lived in Leicester for 13 years and as much as I love the place, if I were offered a job in Nice I'd be on the first Megabus out of here. I think the owners are a bit skint at the moment. I suppose duty-free isn't really an ideal business to be in when people are banned from travelling for two years.
August 9, 20232 yr At least he'll bring PL experience. I watched him at Nice last season. Ability but still not much between the ears.

I always liked him... bit like Gallagher... he didn't get many games but when he did come on I always got the feeling he could score or make something happen.... don't think FL rated him. Anyway, glad he's got another chance in the PL with Luton... time will tell. Edited August 9, 20232 yr by Bebe1980
August 9, 20232 yr He had excellent skills, capable of great stuff, but equally capable of screwing things up completely.
August 9, 20232 yr Always remember that great goal against Liverpool. Let's hope he can replicate that for Luton.
