We are down to bare bones in the midfield, yet we are desperate to terminate Barkley's contract. Either he's terrible like Drinkwater, or the manager is not thinking straight.

Todd is really clearing house.  Much more focused squad, and younger high potential players will take Barkley's place in the squad.

Or he is on 200k a week 

And billy gilmour has been given the number 35 shirt implicating he might be a backup

This was by far his best performance for us. He and Gilmour absolutely bossed the midfield that night. Shame it never worked out here for Barkley - I always thought he would have 1 good game and then 3 games where he went missing completely. 

Hope he manages to get his career back on track. Would be a good option for most midtable Premier League Sides. 

He's a good player that was stunted by injuries. Way too slow in the head for modern PL.

About a month ago, he was their captain as well. They've been starting Danny Ward instead of replacing him with anyone decent. They are now three points adrift at the bottom of the league with the worst defensive record.

I dunno, I've lived in Leicester for 13 years and as much as I love the place, if I were offered a job in Nice I'd be on the first Megabus out of here.

I think the owners are a bit skint at the moment. I suppose duty-free isn't really an ideal business to be in when people are banned from travelling for two years.

I think that comment stuck on him... I always liked him... bit like Gallagher... he didn't get many games but when he did come on I always got the feeling he could score or make something happen.... don't think FL rated him.

 

Anyway, glad he's got another chance in the PL with Luton... time will tell.

He had excellent skills, capable of great stuff, but equally capable of screwing things up completely. 

Always remember that great goal against Liverpool. Let's hope he can replicate that for Luton.
