Also 20mill for a manager we would not pay 8mill for when dealing with ADL? move on Chelsea. Move on.

I surely expected Conte to be gone this season, but if the board trusts him then thats good enough for me. Lets all now do our part as fans and support our manager, Conte.           KTBFFH

It won't be 20m ADL is a nob but he isn't stupid

Conte’s contract runs to June 2019 and the club would have to pay around €11m to terminate with the whole staff.

It’s entirely possible that after all the negotiations, Chelsea could stand by Conte as the most efficient course of action.

It is understood Conte held meetings and, unless the situation changes, will fulfil the final year of his contract. (BBC) #CFC

I never believed until today that the club were prepared to give Conte another year. But if it doesn’t happen today then I will really start to believe it will. We’re starting to get into real pre-season now and it will be so disruptive to start with Conte and then stop. 

Most of the players don’t want him, he doesn’t want to be there so we should have just paid the £8m and been done with it. Ridiculous. 

I've made peace with the fact that it's going to be Suffer-ball next season. If we finish higher than 6th, I'll be happy.

I am also starting to believe that this is the right mindset. We should get rid of Conte, as a person never developed young players, integrate the youths and (re)build the stadium as fastest as possible.

Conte still got the contract so he's going to join the pre-season with the rest of his team now...I'm scared we'll lose Hazard cause of that but at the same time I already feel much less pressure for the squad to win the title or anything this new season so just looking forward to see Golovin and some other new faces.

The Sarri thing is not going to happen and the whole Conte saga will continue for another year, with sh*t signings that he will then try to convince the press that he had nothing to do with. Of course they won't be his first choices, because none of his first choices actually wanted to play for him.

What a fking awful close season so far, about as bad the January window which was also a complete disaster.

Last January's window? We signed an incredible LB for peanuts and Giroud who helped save our striker situation. We ain't gonna be able to sign a world breaker half way through a season so in whole that was actually a good window. 

So Conte stays.

So Conte will throw his toys in the corner like a little child making 5m/year in one of the top management jobs in the world? I really don't think so.
