heart says the 3 days rest and full weeks planning will do wonders and we will win with ease, provided a striker starts.   Head says if some of the players really are downing tools, nothing will change and WBA will come at us with no fear and spring a surprise. 

 

FWIW if we do lose, id still like to see Conte last until end of season.

Of course winning is important, but would be equally pleased to see us change our strategy. Probably employing Luiz as a 'rush-goalie' is a step too far, but a change in formation and a few fresh faces would be equally encouraging.

f**k me it don't look good for the rest of the squad then. Willian does have one good game against a few rubbish teams then it seems to get remembered for  3 months.

I agree in part, i do think needing to play so many games without any back up hasn't helped matters, but i don't think that alone is the reason why he is struggling. At the beginning of the season when he was as fresh as every other player in the squad, he was still having these problems. I just think the opposition has us sussed in that area, a fresh Alonso wouldn't find things much easier.

Really do not know what to make of that lineup..

great to see giround start, great to see Christensen back, great to see morata on bench finally after weeks out

 

but it's painful to see 3-4-3

painful to see Pedro start and Hudson odoi not even make bench 

painful to see fab in a midfield 2

painful to see Zappa over Emerson at left back when Emerson has played this season coming back from injury 

 

really dont feel like anythings going going to change personally. Luiz or ampadu should have that spot next to Kante.. you just know wba will be dirty and scrap to the death for everything .. so you stick fabregas in there ?! Smh
