f**king annoying how both Liverpool and Spurs grinded out wins

Annoying but it's exactly what we used to do when we had some steel and a few characters in the team - as opposed to the current spineless bunch.

The fact also is they're missing two key players and still managed to do so. Not even withstanding that they got an injury to Dele Alli in the game too

In 3 months we might win the UEL and both cups or lose everything... Patience is key guys !

Funny isn't it, I recall a time with Conte where we were in a similar situation and it nearly all changed in a week .................. still we got the FA Cup.

Remember september 2016 after many thought the PL title race was over for us after 2 back to back defeats ... Granted it was late september and not mid january. But still. For all we know, we might show up in the Europa League big time and eventually win the whole thing and get UCL football next season + a LC win or a FA cup win in the process too ! To me, I'd rather win the Europa League and a cup and play UCL football through that medium despite finishing 8 th in the PL rather than finishing 3rd in the PL but losing vs spuds next thursday and in the FA plus losing the Europa League too ! No one remembers a trophyless season + players wont stick around with no title. Granted, in my scenario, UEL is a must win for UCL footy though ! But it is affordable and a european trophy still (that would be the 6th i.e twice as much than spuds and 6 times more than le arse and it would close the gap with manure's 8 european trophies too ! Something that is not to be neglected imo and surely, winning titles motivate players too). Also, fighting in these 3 competitions to the fullest will motivate the players as they're willing to win literraly any possible trophy ! Sometimes we forget that, but winning trophies for players goes beyond the PL and the UCL ... these guys are willing to get any silverware. In our instance it's a win win : the europa qualifies for the UCL. Let's go for it and add a cup win for the double then hehe !

I used to mock the UEL as the Thursday Nightclub cup for a long time ... But since it qualifies now for the UCL, I've just realized that thursday nights may become the most important matches for us this season ... Oh the :irony:

It’s getting to make or break time, cock up one time too many in the next three/four weeks and our season is done.

To be fair, Spurs just played Fulham. Should be beating them at the best of times. Meanwhile we lost away to Arsenal, who are notorious for upping their game against us in he Derby. Let's not forget Arsenal beat Spurs at the Emirates 4-2 a few weeks ago.

Not an easy place to go in a London Derby, especially now with a new coach. Cannot take Arsenal for granted. We couldn't beat them under Conte for love nor money.

Iam so f**king tired of everything going against us..the media, the f**king FA,Christ even our own board seem to be doing everything to f**k us over ...I just feel like hiding from it all until the seasons over and start from the beginning again...:sofa:

Just watched Fulham vs Spurs on MOTD2.

Thought Fulham should have had a penalty against Lloris on Mitrovic.

Secondly Mitrovic scored yet it was ruled off-side though I can't see why.

Danny Murphy just said I can see why some think it is not off-side yet it is offside.

The way I saw it Fulham crossed and Mitrovic was offside yet his colleague headed the cross and Lloris saved it yet the rebound fell to Mitrovic who put it away.

The thing that bothers me is that he was absolutely buzzing about playing in the premier league, only for it all to be taken away from him.

I’m really hoping for a miracle but doesn’t look good.
