Embarrassing from Watford. I cannot believe they beat Wolves ffs. Wolves, I have little doubt, would have put up a much, much better fight against City. City have been good, but c'mon!

Gomez is a favourite of mine. Great memories of being in the MHL as he had a mate for the sh*te from the lane. We all started chanting his name.

Now I know what it must have been like for a Utd or Arsenal fan back when Roman took over and plunged hundreds of millions into world class talent over the course of a few years.

That’s harsh on Watford. This City side is one of the best we’ve ever seen in England. Winning a domestic treble is no easy feat but City are ruthless, most teams when they go 3 up will ease up and cruise to the win but this City side are relentless.

Eleventh time this season City have score five or more goals in a game this season... let’s not forget we was one of them.

We’ve a long way to go if we want to get back to the top again.

Feels like English football is drifting away from most everyone but City. They just make everything look so easy all the time.

I don't think things were anywhere near as bad back then. We spent enough money to get us competing with the best, but there was still a ton of great players playing for different clubs all around Europe and we were never ahead of every team in Europe. City have been spending and spending and spending for over 10 years now, and it looks like it's going to keep going. There was competition when we were spending money, but City are taking away any kind of competition, especially in the Premier League. Nobody can compete with City, if City wants a player, then there is no point trying to out bid them because you will always lose.

I personally think English football is in big trouble of becoming boring to the point where people start losing interest. The Premier League is known for being competitive with teams that never give up and we see mid table and lower league teams produce good results against the big teams, that hasn't been happening in the last 2 seasons. We just seen a team in the top half of the Premier League get destroyed easily by City in an F.A cup final, I have never seen anything like that.

There is no competition anymore, and English football is well on it's way to becoming dominated by one team, exactly like Scottish football.

I think the authorities will take action, with both Euro finals being contested by all English sides and one club (City) just one round from being in the CL final as well as winning all the domestic trophies will worry the ruling bodies. The game needs competition not a monopoly.

A European league could be on its way but then again, we've seen stuff like this before and the pendulum always swings towards someone else eventually

Amazing to see Pep still coaching Sterling - really interesting that Sterling seems completely focused on what is being said to him too - that's the attitude of winners

I always thought Mourinho looked for players like that and wondered if he had got Perisic at Utd like Milito for Milan whether that would have made a difference.

Big danger of England becoming like spain, with Man City and Liverpool as the Real Madrid and Barcelona of the country, with no-one else getting a look-in.

I agree. A lot of people said it when Roman took over at the Bridge and it didn’t happen. I think it will with City as they are run on a whole other level. They’re state run. They’ve got it all set up perfectly. Great stadium, best training facilities, best players, fattest cheque book, best manager, best back room, and some literally unbelievable sponsorship deals, oh and soon to be demonstrated, the best lawyers. They’re a machine of a club. All they're missing is a decent atmosphere at their games.

Can't happen since TV money isn't top loaded like spain.

I certainly don’t see it with Liverpool, they’re just having a good period. Unfortunately for them, they’ve waited so long for their good period and it’s coincided with the EPL becoming a one club league like is the case in France, Scotland and Germany to name just three.

6-0 against one of the strongest and most difficult sides outside the “big 6”. It’s just as well they can’t yet get their sh*t together in Europe.

Liverpool!!! Really don’t see them dominating anything anytime soon. Have won 1 league cup in the past 10 years and a 97 point second place in the league. Good side atm ok but not in a position to pull in the players that city can.

Only team I feel who would have the global  appeal and financial clout to compete would be Utd but they are in a mess atm but can thrown enormous amounts of money at the market should they get the right manager.

You guys are going a bit too fast with City gonna dominate England for the next century stuff, of course they have a ton of money and one of the greatest manager of all time but things can change very QUICKLY in sports. They still havent won the Champions league (didnt even get to the semis yet) and they didnt look that great in the PL in the past 2 months scratching results left and right (it took a Vincent Kompany worldie to win them the title).

Man U are still gonna spend a lot of money they just need to get their sh*t togheter and fire Woodward , Arsenal i have no hope since Kroenke wont spend a dime but if they get some great defenders and a good midfielder they should be able to at least challenge them. Spurs gonna spend with their new stadium and they have great core of young players, if they can avoid big losses like eriksen or kane they will challenge for the title. Wolves with their super Agent Jorge Mendes will get better as well so are Leicester who is a well run club. Im not gonna comment on Chelsea because i dont know what we are doing half the time.

Dont give up guys its the first treble in the PL HISTORY (on the mens side), the first time a club wins back to back title since ManU 10 years ago.

You guys dont want City to dominate England but you dont want Spurs or Liverpool to win it either so you can't have everything our way...someone said in this thread not long ago that sports run in cycles and i completely agree and it sucks now because our time seems to be ending and we are entering the City/Liverpool one for a while.
