Our players get grabbed like that every game. We NEVER get a penalty for that. For comparison:

it's because the side doing the holding is one of the dirty red sides - believe me, if that was Chelsea, the whistle would be blown

It's already started if their forum is anything to go by.

I fully expect the players to completely down tools eventually, it's just how modern football is. People like to make out that it's mainly a Chelsea problem, but it's happening at pretty much every club now.

Robbie took our team which was in midtable and 3-1 down on aggregate in the Champions League to Napoli (who were a real dark horse at the time, Lavezzi, Cavani and Hamsik) and managed to win a Champions League and an F.A. Cup against Liverpool in the final. We actually almost made 4th but our fixtures got ridiculously tight, where we played Liverpool at home, Barcelona away and Spurs in the Semi Final in the space of around 5-6 days, all because Liverpool refused to play on the day of the 96.

What Robbie did was almost impossible, our team was a wreck and he salvaged what no manager has been able to do at the club. YET, most of our fanbase was content with sacking him just a few months after his opening season, in what world do people expect the fans not to be fickle enough to turn on Ole, who hasn't had anywhere near the success that Di Matteo had, I wouldn't even be surprised to see Ole sacked by the end of the season.

Smalling always gets away with shirt pulling, he doesn't just do it against us either, but that's 3 separate occasions you've just found on him pulling shirts against us.

Absolutely abysmal defender, how he gets away with it I don't know, probably his only good attribute he has going for him.

I just googled 'Smallng grapple' and there were those three incidences against us. I reckon he does it far more against us than against other teams, knowing there's zero chance of the refs penalising him for it. As I said above, in the FA cup even VAR let him get away with it.

I was thinking that and mentally picturing the words being said by Greavsie.

So did !

'Saint and Greavsie'. Lunch time football show on ITV on a Saturday 12.30.

Mid 1980s, replacing 'On The Ball' with Brian Moore.

This  had been the ITV football programme preview slot on 'World of Sport'.

Everton 4-0 Man Utd  ! No way I would have predicted that score yesterday.

With Palace beating Arsenal, it's vital we win v Burnley tonight.

I actually thought Everton would win yesterday and thought of a small bet.

Agree we need a win to keep up the pressure and possibly get an advantage if the others drop more points.

Much like our peers we seem to have Jekyll and Hyde performances which means any match cannot be taken for granted.

Shane Long scores the fasted ever premier league goal 7.69 seconds!

good to see he scores against other teams besides Chelsea - seems he always scored against us no matter what team he played on

I suppose that’s the difference between us and them, they have Eriksen in midfield, who’s capable of scoring worldies, we don’t have any goal scoring midfielders.

So f*cking annoying how they scored at 88 mins. w**kers.

Never in doubt that theywere going to score. Guys like Eriksen & Son are game changers, both for under £20m.

Shows what you can get with good scouting.

And not having to pay the Chelsea is backed by a billionaire tax

True but just imagine the quality of a “10” we could have bought for the £56m we spent on Sarri’s pet.

Crazy thing is he wanted the club to spend millions on a backup for him in Jan, when it is obvious the team lacks creativity & incisiveness.

They also have Pochettino on the side lines we've got Mr f**king pyjamas that can't change tactics to adapt when things aren't working. And keeps playing Hazard as a false 9 in big games.

Somtimes I'm amazed that we are even this close to Tottenham in the league.
