Sp*rs win over Utd was overrated...they could have easily lost that if Utd had taken their chances in the first hour...they took advantage of Utd's terrible defending after that but size of victory flattered them...yet everyone talked afterwards like they were champions elect.

I forgot all about him. Not a starting place at Watford either then...

Coming back from a serious knee injury that ruled him out of most of last season.

I assure you no one will be underestimating them anymore

Looks like we all underestimated Watford.
Now let's see if they can remain in the top half for more than 19 games...

I've always disliked Elton John but rom seeing how he celebrated a Spursy defeat, I'm starting to change my opinion...

Honestly guys, the PL title could be ours ... No europe this year (I mean yeah there's the thrusday nightclub cup but you know what I mean), a fully fit squad, an exciting new system with Sarri and a very good start of the season. Also, rivals seem to struggle as they've either lost points or proved to be quite underwhelming. Pool are highly overrated from what I've seen. City are far from being the machine they were last year. Arsenal :laugh2:!! Spuds have already bottled and Manure are having a meltdown ! We need to adjust defensively and sort out the whole striker position, i.e, need more creativity with the number 9 upfront ... Otherwise, our midfield is already world class along with Hazard doing great already and a surprisingly good alonso so far ... Plus, Pedro was good against bournemouth. Onwards and upwards ! UTC !!

So as not to disturb the players, it's arrival was timed ahead of the 4pm kick off and flew over Turf Moor just as the final preparations were being put in place on the pitch.

tbf this shows the levels of delusion of manure fans - I can understand that manure wants to get it's spending in order & didn't aggressively move in this past transfer window but manure fans still want more purchases like this was FIFA Ultimate Team nope.gif

They are deluded as f**k.......history history history is all they shout about, same as the media. How much have they spent Again since Fergie? 700m or so if im not mistaken, and at least half of that went to Jose......and yet they want woodward out? Screaming teenagers man........

The amusing thing about Utd and their fans is they sat back during Fergie era acting smug because they had same manager for years and looked down their noses at chelsea, for example, and our revolving door and would say we have more class that that, we don't act like that...was always easy for them to say when one of the greatest managers ever ruled the roost there...but turns out they're not so different once Fergie left...will watch arse post Wenger with similar interest...

I don't know about that, I didn't see Spurs get a lot of hype over that match, everyone was just talking about United making mistakes and the downfall of United when Spurs capitalised brilliantly.

Nah we are pretty far behind if I'm being honest, a good start is always great though but our target should be top 4 and then try and keep Kovacic & Hazard here while signing some targets and offloading some deadwood that Sarri doesn't like being here.

I think our transition should only take a season and we'll be challenging, I just can't see us keeping up with City & Liverpool, we have no striker to score the goals for us, David Luiz is wobbly at the back and I think the Thursday nights will batter us. Plus there is still a lot of the back 4 we need to get used to, that Arsenal game was a common example, I don't expect us to get used to that system so quickly.

IMHO the Sanchez transfer has disrupted the flow & the atmosphere of the locker room at manure - one could see it doing the FA Cup Final - Jose was reluctant to start Sanchez over Lukaku - IMO manure would have been better served by playing Lukaku up top & having Martial & Lingard as support - Thank God saw it better & lost the match

They can though, as much as I hate to see it, they've managed to keep all of their best players since Bale left when everyone doubted it, even their manager has managed to stay. They've had a lot of transition and Lucas Moura looks like he could really make something of himself there, I think they have to win something this year.

You said it. Team full of players who have won nothing and a manager who has won nothing. They have to win something or their best will leave. Imagine you're Kane and you have nothing to show for 3 years of dominating, Erikson as well.

I'd be surprised if they win a trophy and even more surprised if they hold on to Poch, Kane and Erikson.
