That bit stood out for me. I don’t expect much activity in the transfer window, 2/3 players maybe.

Well he must of heard Conte going on last season and thought i better say the opposite for now.

Chelsea, Sarri's first words:"I can not wait to start working and meet the players on Monday, before leaving for Australia where I will meet the team and begin to train. I hope to be able to show a fun football for our fans, we want to win trophies at the end of the season because this is what the club deserves ".

Surprised he’s not starting till Monday after all the delays we’ve had. Super excited he’s finally here though. Can’t wait to see what he can do with players of the highest quality like we have. If he made Napoli look stunning, imagine what he could potentially do with the likes of Hazard and Kante.

Not being an expert on sarriball, they say hat he likes to play from the back. If that is the case, we are going to struggle again, just like António did last season, because we haven't got the defence-midfield for it. So there's still the case of getting in some transfers to improve the team.

Napoli are a bitch to deal with, it sounds like. Fortunately the first week of training is mainly fitness and Sarri isn't playing too much catch up.

 We only struggled because the coaching was not adequate. Sarri has his teams coached to play with speed and his positional game is much better then Conte's.

Shades of when Conte was first hired. "Don't expect to win the league, top 4 would be good enough".

Being realistic, we have no idea yet if we have the players for it. I’d be willing to bet no-one would have predicted those Napoli players would be fit to play the kind of football he got them playing. We have some stunningly talented players like Azpi, Christiansen, Rudiger, Kante and now Jorginho. I don’t see why he can’t build something amazing from that.

I'll personally wait to see if Hazard is still at the club before jumping on that bandwagon.

Well let’s hope hes as successful as our previous Italian managers, if so I think he’ll be doing well!

Agreed, top 4 is my aim for the year. Not too bothered about a cup but would be welcome addition. Would prefer a decent run in the Europa league than to FA Cup/league cup. 

Sarri’s lawyers have said we have secured Sarri for free and paid nothing for his services and it is completely separate to the Jorginho deal. This HAS to be a deal between ADL and Roman and we’ve agreed to keep the deal quiet. No way do we rip Napoli off and get Sarri for free and they still agree to sell us Jorginho. 

Finally some good news. I hope the board is patient with him and I really want Hazard and Courtois to just leave the Belgium camp and start preseason immediately

He's not going to turn up and start whacking square pegs into round holes and expect a miracle, give the guy a bit of credit.

I think people will be surprised that it won't take long to implement his ideas. We already have many players who have shown are capable of playing one touch, nice football. It's just putting the tactics together and allowing some of our key attacking players to express themselves more.
