True. Though I have also gone on record with the opinion that I would have gone for Yves Bissouma last summer before Tottenham got him. For me it doesn't have to be Declan Rice. But we 100% do need a defensive midfielder who can defend but also break forward and carry the ball. And, vitally important, who also has some physicality and athleticism in his DNA. We all know Jorginho hasn't got any of that. Unfortunately, God made him skinny, weedy and slow.

TBH I really thought Jorginho's abysmal defensive performances in the Arsenal and Newcastle games would have finally ended this thread.

Ask Gol for some stats, he'll show you he was the best player on the pitch for us in both those games due to his pass percentage completion on passes made between 5-10 yards at no faster than 5mph.

RLC has an average rating of 6.53 in the Prem this season, Jorginho has one of 6.55. I'm glad you can finally agree with me now. If you're saying RLC isn't good enough for a Prem team then neither is Jorginho. Lets not also forget RLC has been shifted out to wingback etc. while Jorginho has been playing his favoured position PMSL.
