Willian doesn't think very fast does he ?

He's been poor besides his pass for the Hazard goal, very sloppy and slowing the play down.

In complete control, without playing great.

Far too many sloppy passes.

The front 3 have been good though, we just need to stop giving the ball away under no pressure and we could get a few more second half.

Great first half, but basically at walking pace, they look like they need a collective stimulant

I'm sure Guardiola has plenty spare to give us

If you were a Brighton fan you'd want them to be a lot more aggressive, as Wolves were. Kick a few of our boys up in the air, get close to us, not that I'm complaining, it's been a stroll so far.

Alonso's had a poor half, he's been very poor for a while now, but everyone else has been good, especially the magic man, obvs.

Come on Chelsea.

We have looked in control first half. I hope we don’t lose our heads and so something stupid as a goal back will make things more nervy.

would like to see giroud on later for willian and maybe Loftus-Cheek for kovacic

That was a really tidy first half, Brighton couldn't get near us. We've made it look easy this afternoon.

Movement of the front three has been great, the midfield trio have ran the show and the defence barely tested.

A couple of stray passes here and there, but not much to complain about. Having a focal point up front with pace and a clinical finish has made such a difference, Hazard's goal was so simple and brilliantly taken.

If we can continue the second half like that and avoid switching off and we'll take a big three points.

Good scoreline to go in at, but we don't look to be creating a lot of clear cut chances, could be due to brighton playing 9 at the back though. Hazard is playing fantastic, Dave, Luiz, Rudiger, Jorginho and Kante are also playing well. Alonso, Kovacic and Willian have looked a little sloppy at times though. I reckon we'll see RLC at about 65 mins anyway

Brighton will probably come out better, so we need to come out even better.

I don't think we've been playing that great, sloppy all round play from Kovacic, Kante, Willian and Alonso, but I'll definitely take 2-0. And Brighton haven't threatened us once so that's good for us.

Why would you exclude his best contribution when assessing his performance? This is an example why I can’t take any opinions on Willian here seriously. He’s probably been our third best player after Hazard and Pedro.

Good performance so far.

Defending well, snuffing our Brighton pretty quickly as soon as they’re getting into our half.

We’ve been a bit sloppy in possession at times, quite a few players have been guilty of giving the ball away cheaply.

Not created as many chances as I would like but 2-0 at half time you can’t have too many grumbles.

Don't be dramatic, I love Willian and I'm a big fan of his, but I'm not impressed with the way he has been playing.

I'm excluding that very instance because there is more to football than one good pass in the game.

I think willian has done okay. He made 1 really sloppy pass, but he worked his arse off to get it back. Kovacic, Kante, and Alonso have given it away alot.

Looking at the bench, it's a shame CHO isn't there, do we really need 3 centre midfielders?

Dramatic? What?

If you exclude his best contribution then your assessment of his performance is meaningless. Surely you can see that.

Because you're assuming I'm some Willian hater or something, I'm not impressed with his performance and I think he has been sloppy despite the assist, that's my opinion.
