We seem to be getting worse by the game. 1 step forward 2 back it seems.....I guess we'll just have to ride this season out and hope we cling on to a top 4 spot although it's difficult to see where the points are going to come from with so much inconsistency.
December 22, 20187 yr Without the keeper, they would be 3-0 up. At the other end, Leicester probably could have put an outfield player in goal, that is how poor we have been from an attacking point.

December 22, 20187 yr And people love to give morata a hard time... giroud is utter hopeless, how can a team like chelsea bring him on looking for him to save the day

December 22, 20187 yr Giroud has been sh*t, seems like the Europa League group stage is his level Edited December 22, 20187 yr by the special one
December 22, 20187 yr Honestly though, what is the answer? Giroud and Morata both not good enough. Hazard playing at false 9 hasn't worked, what strikers are out there available in January, really?..
December 22, 20187 yr Lets hope Everton do us a favour tomorrow or the top 3 places will be pretty much cemented leaving us to battle it out with Arsenal and Utd even though they are 10 points off

The City board also went out and prepared for Pep's arrival a year before he came with the signings of KDB and Sterling etc. Our board simply proved they had no plan because it was all rush, rush, rush to get Sarri in, despite having not given Conte his marching orders until a few days before the pre-season. Apart from Kepa (when we sold Courtois) and Jorginho, there was no preparation for Sarri's arrival. Despite Sarri being keen on Higuain, the board didn't act on it.

As strong motivator, someone that play to your strenghts. Im not seeing any of that at all........its getting worse game by game not better. Yes the board have f**ked up big time........but ffs.

People jsut seem to have no patience, granted today is a bad day every team has bad days but i'd rather be watching us now trying to implent "Sarriball" and hopefully achieving it than watching park the cus counter attack football with Jose or Conte.
