Not really, our possession style against other teams has been giving us more opportunities. Also Kante has scored a few goals under Conte too and he was used as a DM. Arsenal are now a fast, physical team that smother our players when ever we get the ball near the penalty area. As much as it sucks that Kante could not get it in, I am not pissed at him. He too looks out of depth vs this Arsenal.
January 19, 20197 yr Still holding on to the delusional hope that we can claw back a point somehow and put a bit of space between us and United in the table.

January 19, 20197 yr Pedro: skied it. Should have perhaps taken a touch and tried to control it first.

You make it sound like this current Arsenal side are a force....they aren’t, they are very average but that just shows how poor we are.

January 19, 20197 yr Our team just looks so small. Essien, Ballack, Lampard, Terry and Drogba would destroy this team.

January 19, 20197 yr 11 minutes of the same as we saw in the first half ... he's got to make at least two changes at 60 minutes surely ...

January 19, 20197 yr Short of Hazard producing some magic I’m just not sure I can see where a goal will come from? No one in this team instinctively attacks the near post despite how often we get the ball in wide areas.

Again, a professional football player should be able to receive a stronger pass and not to allow the ball to bounce away like he's a tree. It has nothing to do with Kante not being able to finish but the way he poorly reacted to that pass of Alonso. Unless you think that it's totally fine to receive a ball like that. Kante adapted to the new system and proved that he can make runs with the ball, that's 10 times better improvement for the new tactics compared to Hazard,Willian,Morata. The only players that adapted faster than Kante were Pedro and David Luiz, I don't even count Jorginho since he already played that system before.

Good on their day though, tore Spurs apart. But this will feel like a major opportunity missed barring a comeback. With United's momentum I think our only hope could be Sarri taking the Europa League seriously.
