Why would I be trolling. Sarri said Hudson-Odoi needs to improve his movement and defensive work off the ball. If you've watched him, you will see with your own eyes that Sarri is right.

I watch the entire Chelsea front 6, and the only one who executes a high press at all is Kante.

Pedro and Willian don't press anyone. Hazard doesn't have the desire to press, Higuain and Giroud don't have the legs. We need a couple of younger guys up top if we're really going to press high.

The idea that a team like Chelsea needs to pick a couple of 30+ year old wingers for their high press and defensive work-rate against a 3rd place team from Sweden is well... sad...

That's why I thought you might be making a joke about it

Maybe I’ve got you mixed up with someone called Crespo on a neutral football forum.

Anyway, come on Chelsea! Feels dirty to get behind this team after last Sunday.

Well Sarri certainly won't be thinking "oh this is Malmo, f**k it let's take it easy." Bad mindset to have when they have a good coach and tactically will set up well. It's like saying "oh, it's only Bournemouth" and look what happened. They are the champions of the Swedish league. BATE Borisov are currently leading Arsenal away. We can't just write off these teams as if they are total bums, especially not when they are champions in their respective league. This is arguably our best chance to get CL football, so why would Sarri take it lightly?

They're not champions. In fact, they finished 3rd last season...

By sitting on the bench?

Haha think you might have me mixed up, I'm only on this forum, very rarely posting on here

I've just made this account due to my disgust with this lineup. I'm still Sarri in and I believe these players needs to fuk off out of the club with their sh*te attitude. However, I must say Sarri with his lineups in recent times has made it harder and harder for me to back him.

Malmo got to the final 40 years ago, Sarri clearly remembers.

He’s just disappeared totally, I know his form dropped off quite badly, but surely not that badly?

The club have treated him a bit sh*t really seeing as what he gave us for so long.

Not the club, Sarri. News flash to him, Conte and Jose treated certain players like sh*t, Jose with us and United, and look how it ended for them.

Sarri could use Gary but because he actually knows how to defend and cannot pass like Luiz he is frozen out. Makes me sick to be honest hearing this, you do not treat a decorated club leader like Gary Cahill this way. It is a disgrace.

I want Sarri to be given time, even with the bulls*it we have seen in our recent away games.

This though, and his treatment of CHO, is making me consider that opinion now.

If we have Mane and Salah to go with Hazard I would get the lack of time for CHO. But we dont, we have the over the hill Pedro and Willian who, if Sarri had half a brain, would be a better fit in the Barkley/kova or kante positions than any of them are for Sarri ball imo.

Oh don't kid yourself mate. This time last year people were on Conte's balls because he was playing Cahill.

Everything else is spot on.

Very astute post. Can't help but feel some fans are getting what they deserve this season after howling for Conte's blood for being realistic about the squad and then wetting themselves over the prospect of Sarriball.

Always interesting that we clamour for youth everytime we have a bad patch.

Happy to give Sarri a pass on not starting CHO the away leg. Get the business done and get him a start in the second leg.

This one is two fold for me.

Yes, the hope that we don't lose a potential superstar is reason I want to see him.

But more importantly, I think he'd offer more to the team right now than Pedro. Pedro played a few days ago and hasn't been playing well since he came back from injury. He's old and has been picking up knocks all season. I think Hudson-Odoi is the better choice tactically... Forget politically.
