Unlike him as well, that’s usually the situations where you’re glad he’s on the park. I’m surprised he didn’t try and go with his left or take a touch.

Playing absolutely crud, but again massive lack of anything created for a Striker, Willian on the ball just flatters to deceive, Pedro just buzzing around aimlessly 72% of possession is useless without any  chances created

The reason we’re on TV so much, like other big teams, is because we have a lot of fans and the TV companies want to sell subscriptions.

Totally dull first half. Uninspired.  No urgency. No real passion from anyone. Pretty much what I expected when I saw the lineup. 

Same sh*t different day I presume... Just watched last 5 mins of the half.

Same old story:

• Lots of pointless possession at the back and in the midfield, doing nothing with it
• No creativity
• No pace or urgency going forward
• Look open to the counter attack

 

I am so tired of watching the same sh*t week in week out. It doesn't make any difference which players Sarri picks, it's this system he is trying to play which is just sucking the life out of everyone.

 

I dont normally crticise but wow that was awful.Strange team selection.

Another inept performance with no real attacking intent. I struggle to see what our identity is other than keeping possession of the ball.

 

A well worked corner which should have been a goal & Willian’s free-kick were probably our highlights of the half which when you consider both were off target doesn’t say much. 

 

On the flip side Cardiff haven’t had a really dangerous chance either but they are getting in at us a bit too easily and with more killer instinct we could be in trouble.
