Surely now is the time to change it

                          Mendy

        Chilwell Zouma Silva James

                    Kante Gilmour

          Pulisic     Havertz      CHO

                           Werner

For me thats our best Defence, on form Gilmour and CHO DESERVE to play, in my eyes Pulisic when fit is our best player, and going foward we need to build with Havertz and Werner

Well he is a Chelsea fan so that is a good step.

We could go for another Alan in Curbishley 😉

Alan Curbishley was a quality manager. Extremely underrated now for what he did.

Rodgers or Hassenhuttl for me. Schevchenko has done wonders for Ukraine, I imagine he's being sounded out as an interim manager whilst continuing his Ukraine management with potential offer of perm. But I would rather someone with PL experience.

Obviously this is just if frank leaves.

Just change side of CHO and Pulisic and that's that IMO.

What have they won though? That is the big argument about Frank right. No expierence, no trophy as a manager.

Mount is somewhat in a way of our new German boys. Frank needs to make a change. Drop Mason and put Havertz and Werner together like you have in that formation. Mount is not a reason for our bad situation but he is not making goals either.

As it stands Liverpool is 7 points ahead of us 17 games played. If we manage to get out of this rut we could be very close behind in 5 games time.

Lol if we had just draw with Everton and beaten Wolves and Arsenal, as we should have, we would be level already and Frank would still be flavour of the town.

Agreed. Those were the results that hurt us more. Losing to a very good City team was less of a surprise. With Liverpool's recent poorer form I can see City becoming the front runners pretty soon. They have started to look much more consistent of late.

Lol. We only needed to somehow hold onto our leads against Villa and Wolves and it would all be peachy now.

We dont have that mark of the champions which is to win games even when we play bad. We rarely do that.

Hopefully the Liverpool defeat will put things back in perspective for a few posters here.

Yeah of course we have been terrible for a few weeks and I’m not happy at all, however clearly all top teams are stuttering abit this season so even if it takes us another week or two to get out of this rut, we won’t be out of top 4 race. Far from it.

We really need to snap out of it as soon as possible though.

Mount is a hard working chap, but just isn't someone who can carry a team. He can be good if paired with quality partners in midfield. In time, he can become our Henderson.

Maybe we can find out how much the refs are being paid to help united out. Roman is not short a bob or two.

Oh so no defeats in those games you listed then? I think they're still optimistic when they look at their performances against palace 7-0, wolves 4-0 and wins against Leicester and Spurs.

Maybe not quite so optimistic tonight though?

Top teams maybe stuttering but at least they have ideas during games, all ours consist of is pass pass and pass 😄

Why would we want somebody like Henderson? I wouldn't even want Henderson in the Chelsea team.

The same criticisms were being levelled at Pep's City a month or so back.

Hardly a good comparison, Pep's city have regularly took teams apart, try and think of games when we have truly been the better side, I can't remember being blown away by our play for a long long Time, we just don't out play anybody

Quote me if they lose another 3 games in 4 matches lol....heck make it 2 in 3.

Its probably the feeling we had after the Everton defeat. Yeah we lost, just didnt take our chances and had a tough night away against a good side. Its the prem, it happens. What followed for weeks on end was absolutely disastrous

Just pointing out that a big criticism levelled at Pep when things haven't gone as well is their habit of over-passing without creating enough. Right now City are in good form, but a month or so a go they looked totally short of ideas in losing to Spurs. I would agree that we have been mostly rubbish for the last month, but before that we played some good football in a number of games. I think the last time I saw us play really well was Leeds at home and we could have scored 6 or more that day easily. I know Leeds have conceded a fair amount to other teams but they came into that game on a good run of form too with a win at Everton just a week earlier.

They have nowhere near the issues that we do but 2 points from 3 games, and only 1 goal scored over the festive period has to be worrying for Liverpool when you consider they played Southampton, Newcastle, and West Brom.

Actually we do, we done that Vs Brighton, Newcastle, West Ham, Krasnador and Rennes (twice) this season.
