Overkill on this thread today likely because of his game.

He had a good 10 mins at the end of the first half and another good 15 mins in the second half. Other than that he was largely anonymous throughout and fails to test the keeper again.

He was excellent throughout the game.

Not true, large periods he did next to nothing and didn't challenge the keeper once except for a very lucky penalty retake. The best bit of play from him was the lead up to Sterling's goal, which i'll admit was very good.

A goal clouds everyone's judgement.

Wouldn't be surprised if he goes. Not a position for him in the team if we get a proper 9.

That + wages + Need to balance the books + general ineffectiveness means that I am sure we would sell if someone would be 60+ mill for him

The f**k is he going if not Bayern?

there were some rumours that madrid were interested a month or so back.. But apart from Madrid and Bayern, not sure what other big team there is that can afford to pay the 50-60m for him

I honestly thought it was a joke but he actually said that.

What's worse is his dream XI.

Might as well post it, as I was curious enough to search for it after you mentioned it LOL

Such a strange interview to give with how we are at the minute and how poor he's been for us yet continues to get game time. I think Germany suits him better with their poor standard of league, wouldn't be sad to see him go.

There are definitely players who start to show their true colours when things are going well. Hopefully he isn't one of them, but who knows.

I really don’t care what he has to say. I also don’t care if he stays or not. He’s just a nothing player to me if that makes sense?

I've always been under the opinion that if you remove his goal in Porto he is among the worst signings we've ever made. A lot of his inconsistencies are down to his physical nature which is why I doubt he'll ever be a success outside Germany.

Has been asked about the links to Bayern. Said it would be hard to say to them but he also wants to continue experiencing football and life away from Germany as well.

Was all in on being ok with him leaving until I checked & he is still only 23. I still feel there is a great player in there if he could iron out his inconsistencies & bulk up a little in the off season. There are not many quality no 9s in the market, and even if we got 1 in the summer a bit of competition is good assuming Aubameyang leaves.
All this noise around him and Chilwell is because they are both up for contract extensions next season, and they both want the £200k/w+ contracts.

That's a fair point, and the same with Felix, also 23,

All the impressive numbers from Nkunku have come in the last season and a half at age 24 and 25, so it's possible that Havertz and Felix are also about to take off (or they might have already peaked LOL).
