June 30, 20206 yr I might be the only person who doesn't mind the 3 logo at all. It's a bit different. In fact, I am going to say it is an improvement on the Yokohama mess (complete with touch of red that has been a sh*t stain on our last few kits). I am a fan of the leaked drafts I have seen for all 3 kits (not the knock off palace lookalike pictured above). One last thing; they are called shirts, not jerseys. Thanks.
June 30, 20206 yr Nike, how the f**k do you get it so right with that one off FA cup beauty, and get is so diametrically different, and horribly wrong with this monstrosity of a collection!
June 30, 20206 yr I didn´t comment on the size of the logo, but on its design, which is horrible. It´s not just my opinion, but a vast majority of opinions, someone received a fortune to draw that 3 that looks like it came out of a talentless child about 10 years old. I don't agree with today's football, because I fell in love with yesterday's football, the real one. I continue to watch football, in love with Chelsea, but I completely disagree with the direction that all this has taken. And will continue taking. Because it goes for worse, in my perspective, the NBA league will be your wet dream. The sponsorship of 3 doesn´t pay Ziyech´s or Werner´s but it is an important source of revenue, I don´t underestimate this, but any partnership must be well studied and analyzed. More than just numbers. And I don't see much competence in that regard. It's just my opinion. The already classic disregard for sportswear brands to clubs and their supporters is no longer an issue. It seems that they never dedicate more than 20 minutes to work on the theme and without great interest in the history of the club, its fans, aesthetics. They throw up anything, copy club templates for 100 other clubs, change some colors and that´s it. And someone gets paid with gold for that sh*t job any teenager would do. You agree with all of this? You have every right on speak whatever you want. To Disagreement and opinion. I'm not going to send you to see cricket because you like that kind of things. Cheers.-Logo design is a subjective thing. Not my favourite design either but the company itself goes pretty well with football. Chelsea sells entertainment and they sell products you can enjoy your football with. Pretty seamless.-the real football. Check the English game from Netflix and you see money's been attached to the game from early days. You can romanticise football of your youth all you want and it is fine but the reality is it's been business so long. Now the clubs just don't try to hide it as much.-never watched cricket but I guess it is a massive business as well. I have no problem with it.
June 30, 20206 yr The pictures I've seen so far, if true, aren't really that bad. I would prefer "Three." on the front instead of 3, but other than that, I think its better than the current kit. The current kit definitely grew on me the more I saw them in it. I feel this kit will have a similar effect.

I’m with you, I don’t mind it. And agree that the Yokohama logo with the red was not great. Jersey is an American term I’d say, just a dialect thing. All referring the same thing - the item of clothing that the players where on the pitch.
July 1, 20206 yr New shirt officially confirmed on the website. The team will wear it tonight vs West Ham
July 1, 20206 yr Thinking about it, won’t the team have to wear it for the rest of the season given that the deal with Yokohama has expired?

July 1, 20206 yr I never have cared much about the kit. All that matters to be is the results next season. Also, financially it is a good deal for us so that's what matters. I don't think it looks any better or worse than other home kits.

Yokohama are still a sponsor, I am assuming there was some agreement made. If not, the contract would cover us. Yokohama contract expired end of June and 3 started beginning of July.
July 1, 20206 yr Saw these on Twitter. Proof that a sponsors logo really make improve a kit. They look really nice. Shame we have the minging “3” logo. Edited July 1, 20206 yr by JM7
July 1, 20206 yr Three is so much better than 3. I like the shirt though, it's tidy, with the inevitable frilly detail (the chevron) not very visible. Proper collar too.
July 1, 20206 yr I’ve got the IT Crowd new emergency services phone number stuck in my head thanks to all this 3 business. I like the shirt though, I can stomach the sh*te sponsor logo and I normally hate everything
July 1, 20206 yr The Logo is just too big imo, that's my main issue with it. If it was reduced in size it wouldn't look too bad.
July 1, 20206 yr Whenever We Use Our 3rd Kit, Are We Changing Our Name To Crystal Palace Just For Those Games, It's Very Similar To Their Home Kits

July 1, 20206 yr What a stepback - Samsung, Yokohama.... 3? I can only assume it's because we don't have key names like Drogba, Hazard, Fabregas, etc these days. It's not creating as much attraction for sponsors.
