Not very optimistic about the next few games. When the transfer ban was lifted I felt sure we;d strengthen and that pulisic and even RLC would be fit. Also we;d have got over this nonsense of pretending Mount is leading premier league no 10. 
 But none of that has happened. Instead it’s ManU who have already beaten us twice who have strengthened and so did spurs. 
 

if we would just play Kante Jorginho and Kovacic in the middle or a back 3 with alonso and James as wing backs we would do better.

HUGE couple of games. Lose or even draw them and we will be in trouble of surrendering 4th. The other teams are catching us up. If Spurs win today, they will be 1 point behind us. 
 

We need to start winning games and not be throwing away silly points.

We need to win this or the next league game, losing both would be really sad.

I don't even care about Champions league, sure we can compete against Bayern (I don't expect we can win over two legs but we can go out without humiliation) but at the end of the day we have a new young team that should just be happy for getting this experience.

We lost our best player, our best player after him has been injured all year, have a young manager and integrating youngsters who make mistakes while learning. It will be embarrassing for Spurs and United if they dont overhaul us, not the other way around for us if they overtake us.

Plus all the pressure for this game is on united. 6 behind us. They have to win. They cannot afford to loose with the form of Spurs, Sheff United and Wolves. Everton too.

That is the worrying part. Playing badly and getting points is a sign of a good team especially with Kane out. i would prefer if we played badly and won compared to play nice and dropping like we have been for the past 2 months. 

It is imperative we win our next  2 league games, i could care less about bayern

I'm not sure about this game against ManUtd because we have looked a bit clueless against them and they have been doing well in big games...But against Spurs we can maybe try with the 3-4-3 like last time when Jose wasn't prepared for it. Maybe if ManUnited are desperate to win against us we might do a counter attack formation against them and secure a tactical victory as well. I trust in Lampard and I think our key players will show up and do a good game tomorrow, will it be enough well a lot of things can happen...

      That is just our perspective because we are chelsea fans. All people will see is that we had a 12 point lead in the 4th position and bottled it if we dont get the 4th position. Fair enough we lost Hazard and kante hasnt been the same player after his injury but United have lost Pogba ,Mctominey and Rashford for a considerable amount of time and Spurs will be missing kane for half season

Both games contain and counter. Both our opponents come needing the win more than we do imo. Let's make it hard for them. Sit deep.

Exactly. All well and good when you have the team you have been building like Klopp to stick to your style game in and game out.

In these next two games we need to abandon our offensive style and pick one to mess up the opposition.

in fairness it wasn't Franks' fault.....we just didn't have anyone that could put chances away that we did create....He certainly needs to change things up; the midfield without Kovacic IMO is weak and not making any contribution; the back four have fallen back to their old habits and the forward players can't score worth sh*te...apart from that we look good

The we played better but could not finish card is something Wenger pulled for years on and we all laughed at him for.

What matters is simply what ends up in the net and who wins. The rest is conjecture. 

I reckon we can win but we need to be smart. None of the naivety of the first game thanks. If we do win it would go a long way to securing fourth.

I really can't predict, I want to be optimistic, but United are so unpredictable and they've had their best games against the top 6. I really hope our players rise to the occasion like they did at Tottenham and Arsenal away, and please do not play like we did against Arsenal at home, that was a pathetic performance.

I agree, I'm not interested in any of the "but we didn't finish our chances" nonsense anymore, it's happening far too many games for it to be down to luck.
