July 12, 20206 yr Just read about the City's case. I really feel they are completely exonerated. Just because UEFA has used material which probably should not be used...Don't know. Anyway we really may have to win our remaining 3 matches.

Nailed on away win ... ? True and the fact they’ve already won the league is pretty key. I mean Burnley managed to get a result
July 12, 20206 yr Well well, Leicester . Such is my superstition that I didn’t want to say anything at 3-1 but 4-1 and end of normal time is probs ok:). I suspect there will be more twists and turns in this race.
July 12, 20206 yr No way did i see Bournemouth spanking Leicester, wtf do i know about my beautiful game..
July 12, 20206 yr Two homes wins should be enough now. Liverpool apart, it's been a very sub standard league this season. In fact, i honestly can't remember a top 6 as weak as this.
July 12, 20206 yr The TV money and FFP has really leveled the playing field. It is not a joke. Liverpool's season was sensational in this sense. Anyone can beat anyone.
July 12, 20206 yr leicester has been in crisis since the end of 2019. After that amazing series of 8 consecutive victories, they only managed a pair of consecutive victories for once, they went into an instability of exhibitions and results. Theoretically they have a more difficult schedule than we do. Sheffield, Spurs and United. But that's the theory, because as we are, I'm even a little afraid if we can beat Norwich. The league is leveled down, a lot of money but poor quality, total instability and poor football in most clubs. You have the author's team, which is Liverpool by Klopp, who will soon know their end of the cycle and you have the mega structure of City by Pep Guardiola, who is the best coach in the world. Tottenham and Arsenal absolutely pitiful. Chelsea and United fighting for Champions seats without ever knowing regularity throughout the season. Chelsea defending like an ordinary Championship team, United playing on the counterattack with hideous, small team football. Cases of success or distinction would be Sheffield, who play as they play, in addition to the Wolves who are a personal project of the mobster Mendes' laundry. Millionaire proposals like Everton, Villa or West Ham only embarrass others. It's been a pretty poor league actually.

Some teams are in transition. Us, ManU, Arsenal (in a long one) and from the looks of it Tottenham. Then there's been some over the odds performers like Wolves and Sheffield.
July 12, 20206 yr Soyuncu banned for rest of season, maddison injured, and 3 tough games against Sheffield united, spurs and united. Surely we will finish above leicester now, just got to watch out for wolves, although i can see them dropping points at burnley in the week.
July 12, 20206 yr Bournemouth just did us a HUGE favour for a chance, so thank you Bournemouth! Okay maybe there is hope then. I completely written top 4 off after that Sheffield result, I thought Leicester would comfortably win their next 2 fixtures then maybe get enough points against United/Spurs. But after that... No, there's hope. That Liverpool away game is a pain in the ass though, but we definitely need to beat Norwich, and should beat Norwich, no excuses whatsoever with that game.

Norwich are truly awful so we should sweep them aside with ease. My only concern is that now they are relegated, there is no pressure so they might throw caution to the wind and get at us which would be a concern with our defensive issues. Leicester's result tonight was massive and surely they won't come back above us this season.
July 12, 20206 yr City main defence was the documents came from hacking so shouldn’t be used there not even trying to deny it !!
July 12, 20206 yr I dont see why criminal iinvestigators shouldn't be allowed to hack to catch suspects. If you've done nothing wrong or have anything to hide they'll have nothing on you and that will be case closed.
July 12, 20206 yr This is like the UCL group this year.. my assumption is come the last match we will need a result against wolves.. while they might need to win to decide the top 4.. Leicester’s next 3 are Sheffield Utd, Tottenham and Utd.. I think they might get 4 points from these 3. I think we will also end up with 4 points from our last 3 ..while wolves may end up with 7-9.. I think the match against wolves would be bigger than the FA Cup and could decide the final UCL spot
July 12, 20206 yr If i was a fan of a club like a Newcastle, who've won nowt for decades, then i would 100% take winning the FA Cup over a CL place. But at this moment in time a CL place is more important to us than winning another FA Cup.

People these days don't really care about privacy but someone shouldn't be able to just get all of your private info and documents even if you didn't do anything wrong. Man City was supposed to get banned 2 years. Even 1 year ban would make our situation much more relaxing, if we get the good news tomorrow that they got even a reduced sentence I would be so happy that we are so close to secure CL for next season. But even if Man City gets off the hook, we have a good chance to finish top 4 still so by all means, we are STILL in control of our own fate this season. The absolute worst case scenario for me would be the following (even if it's not technically the worst thing that can happen): Man City gets 1 year ban and we go out and lose to Norwich and Liverpool while Wolves win their 2 games, which would put us in a position where we must win the very last game against them in order to get 5th position and CL football. To have the pressure of winning the last game against the direct rival for the CL is way too much emotional investment Imagine going into that last game knowing that Christensen will have to guard Jimenez... As either those rotten cherries do us a favour for once or the foxes kick them one big step toward relegation. Well then. As you were for us and Leicester. I am not thinking of United as they playing well and getting the refs help too. Our battle is for 4th imo. Chelsea 60 points Leicester 59 points Us next two Norwich home, Liverpool away Leicester next two Sheff United home, Spurs away. I fancy the blades to get something from them as they are now in form and pushing for Europe. As are Spurs. If we do our job against Norwich we may have it done before the last game. Norwich are gone, no excuses. Liverpool will be tough but a point there may be a good result if we best Notwich and results go for us. Edited July 13, 20206 yr by axman2526

I would not be surprised if they dont win there. So if we beat Norwich and that happens then they are out of the running.
July 13, 20206 yr I hope wolves are out of the running by the time we play them. Really don’t fancy a play off type of game with them.
July 13, 20206 yr The thing is if United win all the remaining points by the last round and we don't win in Liverpool, they will be up 3/4 points from us and they could take a day off against Leicester. This is why we should have got that one point against WH.
