July 13, 20206 yr 7 points from the last 3 games will probably do it IMO - we know what we have to do now.
July 13, 20206 yr Ffp is dead now, legally cant be enforced. Still think we will finish 4th though, wins against Norwich and wolves who will no longer be in contention imo.
July 13, 20206 yr Not surprised Leicester lost one, also expect Utd to lose one too though maybe not against Southampton.
July 13, 20206 yr Utd's last three games are the easiest of the lot - can see them getting 9/9 points. Leicester's three are Sheff Utd (H), Spurs (A) and Man Utd (H), and you would hesitate to bet on them getting at least 6 points from those on current form, plus Soyuncu being suspended. It gives us a glimmer of hope. Edited July 13, 20206 yr by Elliott
July 13, 20206 yr I personally think the key will be to stay within 3 points of Man Utd by the last match so they have to try and win at Leicester. If they are certain of Champions League qualification by then they might leave a few players out to save them for a possible FA Cup final (if they was to beat us) and their Europa League campaign. The chances are we will need Man Utd to beat Leicester on the last day. Edited July 13, 20206 yr by 2211
July 13, 20206 yr Well City have overturned their Two Year Ban so it's just top four this season after all. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53387306 Edited July 13, 20206 yr by fitz

We need to beat Norwich and get at least a point against Liverpool to make sure that the Leicester v Manure match is a fair contest, if they were to both get maximum points before they meet. Win all three of course and its in our own hands.

Norwich play attacking football, they are bottom of the league by some distance for a reason. If we cannot best them then we dont deserve top 4. Wolves at home, if we need a result no excuses not to be up for it as well. Leicester have it worse than we do. Sure we face the leagues best side but I will take that over playing Sheff United, spurs and United. If they take more points than us in those games than we do from ours fair play to them.
July 13, 20206 yr Leicester for me need to win 2 of their last 3 fixtures to put us under any threat for CL places. As they've only won 1 since the restart and the fixture they have I'm feeling good about our chances, but then again even the Norwich game is worrying me. Danny Ings is on good form, hopefully a couple from him tonight to slow down Utd, plus I have him in my fantasy football team.

Had an argument with a friend of mine who was all happy that 5th place would see us in the CL. I told him that's nothing to be happy about. Talk about a lack of ambition. City's money was always going to win the day and given UEFA's total lack of credibility and greed, it was near enough a sure thing.

They have really dropped off since the restart and I assume Soyuncu will miss a few games through suspension now. That is a big loss for them. I don't see United dropping points tonight and I reckon they will win their remaining league games. Wolves are probably a bigger threat than Leicester. If we beat Norwich but lose or draw against Liverpool, we may still need to avoid defeat against Wolves to be sure of finishing above them.
July 13, 20206 yr Southampton draw first blood. Actually looked more up for it so far, but not ruling Utd out at all as they've looked great since the restart
July 13, 20206 yr So top 4 is what counts, as usual. ManU doesn't have any difficult games so they won't slip, we need to win 2/3.
July 13, 20206 yr 2-1 now. Utd have become a solid, consistent team and imo are only a couple of good signings away from being ouside title contenders next seaason. Clearly the 3rd best now!
July 13, 20206 yr Leicester need to win at least 2 from 3 and I just cant see it. Utd will finish 3rd and beat Leicester, I would take our fixtures over Leicester's all day with 2 home games and an away game at the champions with no Anfield support and nothing to play.
