No I must have missed that, but I noticed him throwing his arms up in the air when Mount missed a pass earlier. I expect Giroud is just desperate to prove his worth.

So many shots on target this game, maybe the best first half at home this season. Billy Gilmour is going to be a starter next season easy.

Been impressed with Pickford so far, he has really taken control of his 6 yard box. 

Mason Mount has been absolutely superb so far.

Yeah that was the moment. After throwing up his arms he threw a look at Mount.

Anyway, Giroud has done himself no harm lately for a selection for the France squad. I won't be surprised if he's called up.

Great thing about Billy is the way he keeps the tempo so quick. No hanging about or dawdling. Receive, turn, pass. Always knows where he's aiming for. Terrific player. 

Billy is playing like a seasoned pro, you'd never guess he's an 18 year old on his first start

Billy has probably had 40 touches of the ball and completed 35 passes, great first touch pass on the lad.
