Christensen and Rudiger somehow looking like a great CBs together, I really hope they will save that form and keep it up.

We can do it, COME ON CHELS!!!

They looked like JT and Carvalho 1st half.

Very good first half. Primarily from Frank who has us well set up. Resisted putting Jorginho back in and hasn't asked us to go out and press and have them pass through us.

This was a very smart half of football where we have soaked the pressure and then countered so well. Beyond Pulisics goal we could have easily had some others.

Well done to Pulisic. Very calm finish and good pressing to force the mistake. Also Ross Barkley seems to have have found some form. Who would have thought it?

City were very flat in my view so I expect to see us challenged more in the second half. The false nine has suited Christensen and Rudiger. I'd expect to see Jesus shortly.

Not sure we will. This is a meaningless game for City and I doubt they will want to risk him. Might give him 15 minutes.

That was a cool finish from Captain America! What a legend!

Another point, how the hell did Alonso get a yellow for that! Mahrez down like a windsock in a gentle breeze.

Agreed. Alonso hasn't done anything wrong on Mahrez there, until now Alonso is doing good also.

Agreed. City are still in the FA Cup and have a decent chance in the Champs League. That is where there priorities lie I think. I suspect that once the league is officially won by liverpool they will use the rest of the season to prepare the squad for the Champs League return in August

Very timid and deep start, but after the 20 minute mark felt we played them even or better. Had some great opportunities prior to Pulisic goal.

Great effort by 22 on that play and finish!

Will take a 1-0 final. Or 5-0 FT works too ?

Come on you Chelsea!!

Hope they don't risk him! Christensen and Rudiger look good when playing against no strikers and 15 midfielders. I actually saw Andreas bully someone off the ball at one point. Unheard of!

Best thing about that Pulisic strike (well other than scoring it and the comedy of Mendy being as mobile as John Coffey) was how calm Pulisic is. I wouldn't have fancied Abraham to finish that and Batshuayi would have knocked it out for a City corner!

Pretty much this

City with 66% possession but they said "Chelsea have not lost a game with a lead at half time for 9 years" so we gotta keep this up

Bit of a shame because i think he's done well so far, and i'm a massive Alonso fan, but 45mins against Mahrez on a yellow is asking for trouble, with the 5 subs now i'd put James on for Alonso and switch Azpi to the left.

Edit - def replied to the wrong message ?

The fact they’ve highlighted that worries me. Jake Humphrey tweeted it as well so it’s inevitable we lose now.

We look like scoring every time we go forward however we need a little more control in the middle. I would bring on Kova for Barkley at HT
Well this is it when you play a team like City. When you get past their midfield there is only space behind.
