Barkley has been anonymous as usual when he starts games for us. Games just pass him by.

There were both clear fouls though. Kante isn't thinking when he goes into tackles anymore, he's become far too reckless. You can't just wrap your legs around another apponent from behind or run straight into them, he knows better than that.

He was for leicester and he was for us under Conte. I think the point is more does he really fit what Lampard wants from a CM? I’m not so sure now we dominate possession.

Barkley can be use against teams in bottom half. Against top talent teams, he can only watch the game.

I was wondering if he’s been told to tactically foul in those situations as I don’t remember him ever doing this before this season.
