You could be right but Frank & Jody should be trying to breed confidence in to him that it doesn’t matter if he loses the ball but give us a spark and threat. We look great on the ball until the final third and then we look toothless.

Well, we’re not looking defensively frail which has been a problem for so long now. So that’s something. 

Why do we not have a single player coming in at the back post on an attacking free kick? There was literally no one beyond the penalty spot.

Our press and recovering the possession works really well even without Mount.

He’s not. I realize you don’t build a team with Giroud for the future but the difference between these two players in what they do and what they bring to the team is night and day. Even if Giroud is performing poorly, I’d play him over Tammy.

Yeah he has been rock solid with some great clearances. Contender for MOTM along with Havertz so far.

That was a reassuringly dull half.

If Mount comes on then it needs to be for Kante. This is a typical example of a game where he struggles.

As long as it’s in the middle and doesn’t force Havertz out wide it wouldn’t be the worst of moves.
