I'd prefer to see CHO passing the ball backward instead of losing it and running after the opponent.

He played on the right decision which isn't that bad. You will see him beating players once we will score that goal, we need confidence as a team and each player will put more from him. When the game 0-0 every mistake can cost us, every mistake.

Because everyone is playing out of position due to Pulisic & Ziyech’s injury. Havertz isn’t a creator he’s more of a finisher most Leverkusen fans said that. Werner is forced wide and Tammy was given a chance due to that Barnsley game. 

Everyone struggles against a decent Palace low block as well don’t forget that.

I agree. Pulisic on for Tammy at the 60 minute mark seems like the best way to increase the pressure and score.

Pulisic on for Tammy if it stays the same 10 mins into the second half.

To be fair we have a lot of injuries, can you think of an better option than Werner on the wing right now? Mount?

Hopefully when Pulisic is ready to start a game we’ll see Werner back in the middle.

i know it wasnt exactly electric going forward, but I think theres positives if we can get back to looking like a team that dont look like conceding all the time. 

The attacking fluidity will come. A lot of players still not confident to take responsibility in the final 3rd too much yet, which is expected with new signings.

I think we will win this 2 nil.

Silva looks totally in control and Chillwell is winning a lot of balls.  They look totally different in the back.

Pulisic was Hazard-esque post Corona with his ability to win games due to moments of sheer individual brilliance. It's not a surprise people look for him as someone to help in a game like this where we can't create chances. 

We haven't looked this good defensively in a long time, maybe our best half played in a while, the way we won back possession and kept it clean is a huge positive for me.

Who would we play out wide instead? Mount? Until Pulisic and Ziyech are fully fit we have limited options, plus Werner can play out there - he did for Leipzig many a time.

The second half cant be any worse. We look like a team without any attacking ideas. This U shaped passing is getting on my last nerve

I think that was more due to Palace parking the bus and giving us possession to be honest. They haven't put us under any sort of pressure whatsoever. 

Positives first. We finally have what looks like a competent defence! Chilwell offers more that what I thought he would've. Zouma sweeps up everything with Thiago looking so assured. Hope it continues!

Upfront Tammy doesn't offer us anything, he's not a sh*thouse of a striker like Costa, not physically imposing like Drogba, can't beat defenders using pace or techniques and can't head the ball with power or deftness. He's just a tall guy. 

Timo is being wasted by putting him everywhere but in striking positions. Poor shot though. 

All in all we just need that last final ball. I wish Pulisic and Ziyech was fit to start. Might've been a world of difference.

Palace have not offered much threat though at least once a cross looked dangerous and Azpi was completely outjumped.

It's not hard to understand why we are doing it. We have two wingers injured. It's not like he will be playing there all season.

Tammy off since he dont or cant head the ball and bring him off now not on the 60th or 65th min as that could well be 15/20 mins wasted ,since its goals that win games not minutes

Jorginho having a good game as well, his passing ability is great today. But we're sleeping in our attack, Abraham and Werner are off today, nothing works for them so far. 

Havertz is a very clever player but I want to see him creating chances, shoot and do something on Crystal Palace's GK. CHO had some good moments, he wasn't bad so far.

 

The two parts of your post that I have highlighted are of course inter-related. You are correct. Palace sit deep, hold their shape and defend in numbers in front of their own box. They do not press the midfield. Therefore Jorginho is not being closed early, harried and bullied. Hence, he has time and space and is having a good game.
