Why is Kovacic spinning away from their penalty area and playing it back to the half way line? This is something that has annoyed me with us for years, we should NEVER be passing it back to the half way line in those situations. Kovacic has the footwork to take on defenders, so he should never be playing it backwards.

If this was Lampard's first season this early on, I would have given it much more time... But he's been here over a year now and we still dont have a clear way of playing? Its shocking from Frank.

You cant have a group of players of this quality, and play this utter dross football. If it were against good opposition I could understand, but teams like this we are supposed to steamroll.

So we play a genuine winger in his position and he scores. Who’d have thought?

Hopefully this ends these mental experiments with poor Mount.

you should have watched the mistake the women presenter did on bbc2 last night for the FA-cup 1st round  draw .

Our performance has been bad but we aren't playing against part-time farmers. You have no idea what you are talking about it.

It's not a secret that I want Lampard gone, but it's certainly not something I wish had to happen.

I also hope he can really turn it around.

You can see that our offensive football is still struggling, but finally some better activity by Ziyech who is our most creative player in front.

I'm very disappointed with Werner and Havertz, they actually offering nothing in front. Werner brought us the penalty but in this half he hasn't done a lot. 

CHO was decent, some good moments and took well his goal, he has to thank the GK for that.

We can't allow Krasnodar return to the game, we have to score in the first minutes of the second half and finish the game as soon as possible because the game is far from being over.

I'd put Mount and Abraham for Havertz and Werner.

Peculiar efforts thus far this season. I feel we have upgraded the talent this season, the pounds spent would prove that out, but yet we seem to have lacked a lot of flow and movement offensively. Last year at this point in the season, we were very active around the goal and going forward. Its as if we have gone back to the Hazard-Pedro-Willian strategy of slowing the pace, letting the defense get set, and pass the ball around waiting for the perfect pass, which this group has not quite been able to pull off.

Clearly we have better movement with Mount and Pulisic on the pitch and to some degree with Tammy. So perhaps it is that simple. I have been happy with Werner, we just cannot create enough to get him enough opportunities. Kai is truly enigma. See skills but lack of interest a good bit as well. Ziyech should be ok.

Mendy has been a HUGE upgrade so far and it is has been really nice.

Just still a bit of head scratcher to why we are not finding more chemistry going forward.

Good result going into half-time.

But we are far to slow and methodical going forward. To easy to contain when we play as slow as we do.
And i expect to see more from Havertz (despite the assist). Currently he's not doing enough as the "10" for me.
