Sucks to lose the final. Great achievement just getting there beating the best team in England. Even better achievement getting to the CL-final regardless of the result there.

And even if we do fail to finishing in Top 4 we can thank Lampard for that. Second best team in the league since he arrived, you couldn't possible ask for more.

Nobody is kneejerking, you're just taking an easy cop out. Beating city to get to the final and beating them in the league means absolutely nothing when you perform as we have over the last week.

The starting line-ups, subsequent substitutions and intesity throughout the games have been utterly appalling. The loss against l'arse and today and against leicester are on Tuchel. If he can't get the squad up for games like this at this time of the season then he won't last, and trying to shoe-horn Frank Lampard into a conversation that has nothing to do with him isn't going to change that.

Yes it is. Also written by someone who admitted months ago already that he's decided that he doesn't like Tuchel.

So many similarities with Conte. When teams started mirroring our 3-4-3 we began to struggle, and its happening again. TT still has lot of credits in the bank for me after this season, but if we continue with these tactics we at least need a goalscorer up front. Where is Tammy?!!

Needs to bin the formation

Find a quote if you can. You're still hiding away from the subject. Today was on him. Not good enough.

Alonso at LWB, Dave at RWB, James playing as a RCB (for the first time), Kepa starting.

No Tammy in the squad.

70 minutes before any changes.

Sorry but I think he's once again got to shoulder a lot of the blame for today.

dkw said it. Won't bother digging it up.

And sure, if you want to discuss the subject.

"Beating City in the league means nothing" - Oh really? That win is what keeps us in Top 4 currently with everything still in our hands. Nothing my arse.

I could pick everything you said apart in the same way but won't bother.

You're dressing it up like a Spurs fan.

What makes you so confident we'll win it on Tuesday? Leicester is on an upward momentum and now have tasted a trophy. That will significantly change their mentality moving forward

Whereas our team is on a downward slump and have bottled it twice in 2 years. If this was a week from now then yeah, they might get complacent but in 3 days?

I’ve just had a pop at Tuchel too but Players have to take some responsibility though. What was that for 30 minutes in the second half?

Disappointing to lose in the final, I had high hopes about winning tonight but this is football.

I expect Tuchel to get us a better offensive possession when the opponent closes the game against us. We losing 1-0 and have Giroud and Havertz in front, we don't need to move the ball between our three CB's. One proper long ball by Thiago Silva we found the goal (offside but still a goal). Sometimes the proper possession leads us to dead game and we're lacking of ideas.

Second thing we need a proper striker. Werner is not what we need at the moment. Bring Giroud back to the starting lineup, or put some faith in Tammy. We need goals from our attackers...

No, your taking an easy cop-out again. If you're going to quote me then quote the full sentance. I said "Beating city to get to the final and beating them in the league means absolutely nothing when you perform as we have over the last week." and it's totally true, We put ourselves in a commanding position after city in the league and we threw it away with an awful personell decisions and a piss poor show from the start against arsenal, we totally negated the advatage we got ourselves. Same today, why put such effort to beat city in the semi to then hamstring ourselves with the lineup and put in another half arsed performance in the final?

We've done this to ourselves.  From top to bottom.  Buck stops with TT.  Poor selections and mentality.  The group is more fragile than we want to admit, and its imperative we play our best team every game.

Season is on a knife edge more than ever - pretty standard for Chelsea.

Oh for sure it's up to the players but when you're allowed 5 subs I see little reason to wait until the 70th minute to change something.

We never got going in the second half with all of the front 3 looking lost. We've got CHO, Pulisic, Havertz, Giroud all on the bench, all offering something different but instead TT waits until we've gone behind before attempting to change the flow of the game.

He made a lot of changes for the Arsenal game such as leaving Kante and Rudiger out of the squad because of the final... So when you sacrifice one game and then bomb in the next first point of inquiry has to be with the manager.

You are somewhat correct. Starting Kepa was ridiculous, might aswll not start kante.

Anyway the season is still in our hands. Just cannot afford anymore mistakes.

Doesn't make a difference if i quoted the full sentence.

We are still in a commanding position considering we are still Top 4 with two games left. Which is a direct result of us beating City at the Etihad.

That win means everything right now. Claiming it means nothing couldn't be further from the truth.

3 clear cut chances, one marginally offside that turned into a goal. That's all I ask for in the last ten minutes.

I agree. I just don’t want the players to get a hall pass.

Why do you keep blaming Frank Lampard for the failings of today? If anything, the fact that we played a final today and we are playing the CL final in two week’s time is thanks to Frank Lampard too.

We put ourselves in a position where the result of the leicester game (in the league) would have no bearing on top 4 hopes. We threw that away agains't arsenal. If we lose against leicester, we aren't getting top 4.

Aside from that and back to the main point. Tuchel is responsible for today. 100%.
