March 8, 20215 yr Well it’s definitely a big risk to switch out so many from the big game Thursday. Like others have said I think this will be his first loss but hopefully it will help him learn you don’t fiddle around this much when you have a good formula working especially with bringing in new defenders. The defense needs to build up some experience together and not be switched so damn often.
March 8, 20215 yr TT is taking a gamble tinkering with the lineup but perhaps he feels due to a clogged schedule he has no other choice, if he wants to keep players fresh. Big game for Havertz. He needs to step up. We're playing Atletico in nine days and with Mount suspended Kai is the most logical choice to fill that role. This is the business end of the season and we need everybody to do their bit.
March 8, 20215 yr Just now, Sindre said: Abraham left out of the squad entirely again. Looks like he is on his way out. Reminds me of Mata under Mourinho.
March 8, 20215 yr So TT doesn't eat sh*t at press conferences when he says he's happy with all the players and everyone deserves to play, but the team is chosen tactically depending on the opponent.
March 8, 20215 yr I guess Zouma is in due to the aerial threat, James to counter Richarlison. Mount being dropped is strange unless he is concern about burn out. Alonso might be due to aerial threat again or more to add increased impetus to the attack. A lot rides today on Havertz, if he fails to play well we will struggle.
March 8, 20215 yr Havertz needs the minutes as he will most probably play against Atletico. Mount is suspended from that second leg. Not sure if gamble is the right word. Tuchel needs to play Havertz at one point anyway.
March 8, 20215 yr Im actually really excited by the lineup. It seems crazy to think we dont have both kante and mounts energy, that hudson odoi is playing at the same time as james, and that alonso and zouma are both on the same side. Not to mention havertz back. For arguably one of our biggest games, its all so strange, but hes not let us down so far, so im intrigued. Only thing surprising is why didnt he start Pulisic then. Anyway lets all stay positive unless it goes tits up Edited March 8, 20215 yr by Oli

March 8, 20215 yr Well if he wins here it says that we have one of the strongest squads in the league and he can bring the best out of all of them it bodes well
March 8, 20215 yr Unusual line up given how important this fixture is....Kai has some big boots to fill if he wants to push Mason out of the first team...time for him to earn his money I guess.
March 8, 20215 yr 1 minute ago, Imran_CFC said: 63% of Everton's points have come from away fixtures I think this is a trend in general, and not just Everton. Of the 8 Premier League fixtures over the weekend only 1 was a home win. With no fans in stadiums the home advantage has all but evaporated.
March 8, 20215 yr Zouma is on the right and Christensen Central CHO is on the left and Werner on the Right, Kai is Central.
March 8, 20215 yr Do my eyes deceive me or has Havertz put some bulk on, been a while since i've seen him..
March 8, 20215 yr Cant remember who said everton wont sit back. They have been parking the bus all season man.
March 8, 20215 yr 15 minutes ago, Munkworth said: White socks again @Valerie I think the danger of our white socks is diminished by Everton's green socks. I'm very worried about the lack of frivolity lately from the referees: weeks on end they're wearing black socks. What happened to their fuchsia and lilac socks? Edited March 8, 20215 yr by Valerie

I think more likely we’ll see Werner up top with CHO and Kai just off him in either side. Everton won’t park the bus, so Werner should be open on some runs. Anddddd they are parking the bus ?????
